  1. Love the 'try LEANING it over' comments. So guess a new tyre it is.....
  2. Hi folks...has anyone ever filed/sanded down the sides of their tyre so that it's less squared off? If this is a really bad idea then can someone tell me why. Also is there a way of getting the shape back so as not to have to buy a new rear? All help appreciated. KW
  3. Thanks. That does help. For a start I was going to get the wrong R6 downpipes! I'm gonna give it some thought. Would love a Yoshi end can on mine. How come you're on you second XJ6?
  4. Hi there, I'm relatively new to these pages so a big hello to you all. I've got a 2009 XJ6 and was interested to know what others have done about the exhaust. To date all I've done is drill a hole through the end and this has made a slight inprovement to the sound. What have others done? Anybody out there used 2002 R6 down pipes and worked from there? What about some of the full systems on offer? What have you had done and how much did you pay? Really keen to hear about others as I'm I'm going crazy trying to decide what to do? Thanks KW
  5. Did you try it? what happened? Is there a mount for the lambda sensor? KW
  6. Hi Adam, I've got the yellow xj6 and have had plain rim tape (4mm?) and now have the yellow and black yamaha rim tape...got a good deal on EBay. I think the bike looks alot better in either tape but I prefer the yammy tape as it's better quality...having said that it was 18 quid as apposed to 4 quid for the plain stuff. It doesn't look tacky as i was worried it might. sorry cant post photo as no camera. KW
