  1. Hi Mate,Im riding a 2008 FZ1 and have seen 155mph on the speedo- not sure what this equates to in KMH but hope this helps,ps you really need to hug the tank at those kinds of speeds!!!!!!!
  2. Aye that aint too far- what happened to yur bike????
  3. HI ALL, Im canny new to this forum-based in Northumberland (Gods County), workin shifts so get plenty time off at odd times, wondering if theres any like minded loons in area. Always up for a Blast out, gettin quite used to my FZ1 now-Lovin it!!! Look forward to hearing from anyone to hoon round some of the best roads in UK!
  4. Ive got to say that reading all of this has really cheered my nightshift up-I love bikes, dont matter what sort, modded or not so long as we are out riding and havin a laugh! Handie needs to chill out and work out what he wants, really enjoyed lookin at all your rides,Im useless at modding, but appreciate a nice job, made a mess of a superdream alot of years ago, Keep modding/riding/havin a laugh-Shiny side up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Fazer fz6

Hi G-funk, Its sll about what you want from your bike, sports bikes are great fun but even 600 sports can be uncompromising and a bit scary when you aint used to them. The FZ6 is a great all round bike-yeah it'll tour all day in comfort, but does go like the clappers and will embarrass people on 600 sports machines on the twisties(once you've gained alot of experience!) I got a Thundercat as my 1st 600 and was comfy but could still keep up with faster tools. Like all things- test one see if it feels good then get to know it see what it can do,Gradually!! Its all in ya right hand!!! ps iv had R1s & various other bikes over the years so class myself as experienced-just got a FZ1 and still scare myself witless but love it-Enjoy
  6. HI Fzerberdee, Cheers for that-Id seen the Ermax one at jesters, I think its gonna be a toss up between that one and a Puig one if i can find one!!??, the powerbronze one looks better on the bike than on website but nowhere near as nice as the other options!!! Thanks again Mark
  7. Ps the micron gp style looks good-I need to get rid of that ridiculous standard rocket launcher off the side of mine-was thinkin of the micron!
  8. Hi Darren FZ1, Ive got the FZ1abs in black, only had it 2 months-like the look of your bike and its got some tasty extras too,do you know what kind of screen its got as Im after one. Many Thanks Mark.
  9. Ps the Halvarssons short gloves were £40 quid.
  10. Hi Kirkie, Ive previously used joe rocket,Hein Gerike & Rst summer gloves, All canny but the HG ones failed me in a crash, just bought some Halvarssons short summer gloves & apparently they are the highest rated for safety-but like another member suggested go to a trustworthy gear shop & try a few pairs on,they vary loads by price/fit/strength etc, happy hunting!
  11. Cheers for that "oldgit", mighht be an option-just aint as good looking as the Puig one,I saw an Ermax one also and thet looked ok too,the powerbronze onme looks taller and Im 6'4" so may go for that. Thanks again!!!
  12. Hi all, Ive recently bought my FZ1abs and am after a fly screen to hopefully give me a bit of protection from the windblast. Ive seen a Puig screen on other FZ1s but cant seem to find them on line anywhere, hope some of you can help me out or let me know of a good alternative-my neck can only take so muh!!!!!!!!!!!
