Okay, heres another thing to rule out..... What about the exhaust? if its choked it won't run. Try disconnecting the silencer, it will be noisy....but unchoked. 2 strokes rely on a bit of back pressure to run successfully, so you won't be able to ride without it, but it would give you an idea if it's choked up too much. if it doesn't start you know its not that.
