I have a Dragstar 400 import which when I looked for quotes a few weeks ago was on the data base. Today I have tried to insure the bike and now it isn't on the insurance companies data base anymore. I have tried various online quotes with different companies and the same thing is happening. Can anyone give me any advice and help please as to how I can insure the bike?, Bennetts quoted £157 with breakdown cover two months ago but now say it isn't on their data base. I'm a 57 year old new biker.

In short, if you have the ‘Riding other bikes’ extension on your policy, which will only give you cover against third party risks, this ‘top-up’ policy will increase the cover to a comprehensive level giving up to £5000 worth of cover for the motorcycle you are riding.
