Here's some shots of my old smoker. This bike was my dad's first motorcycle, which he purchased from my grandfather. It hasn't been on the road since '82. Engine was locked tight when I acquired it from my dad, but I stripped it down, had it bored .75mm over, slapped it back together, and the bugger runs. Actually runs pretty well, too... but it needs a lot before it's ready for the road. This is my first yamaha it a 2004 model but already there are a few rusty bits poking through, is this normal for a fairly new bike or am i just unlucky? theres not much rust but its starting I picked it up 2days ago. sorry guys BUT this is the bike that has really stolen my heart tho i have got to sell it but im finding it hard to tho lol This bike is 20 years old has done 78 thousand miles and still runs great no leaks no shaking , no weird noises. just a fantastic ride

The photo doesn't show it, but the paint job is a bit iffy..... she's stood a little while and it's only lately that I've got her near MOT'able. That happens in just over a week ;-) (YAY!!!) Going to be keeping her metallic black, but yet to decide for sure on the sticker / painting design..... might go for a charcoal tribal design, might go for a bit of an 80's 'metal panels with rivets' design. Any ideas, hell, feel free to air them!!! Btw, Is the FZ400RL classed as a street or naked racer style?!? I'd say street myself, but Google searches seem to blur the differences a bit......

Just brought a YBR 125 for my wife to learn on. Need to change the front brake pads. However I have never come across brake pads held in place without pins. Can anyone provide details on how to remove the pads Alien Sorry placed in wrong topic.
