Hello group! I am a new rider, had my license for 2 months. I just bought my first bike a week ago, and I chose a 1990 Virago 535. I love this bike! Being a newbie, I have no idea how to work on these bikes, but I did order a Clymers manual for it so I will figure things out I guess. Bill

Hi all. My name is Rachel and I live in Leicestershire. I have always loved bikes but never owned one until last year. I decided to take my test last June, passed mod 1 and mod 2 first time and bought my bike on the 1st July 2013. I decided to start off with a fairly tame yamaha xj6 diversion abs fully faired and I have to say the bike is fab!! Have been running it in so have been taking it easy, and also I'm a newbie so am also a bit inexperienced so perhaps have been riding a bit slow. I have been adding all sorts to my bike (I do wish bikes would come with all the gear on them!) including a double bubble screen, crash bungs, rad guard, heated grips, rear hugger, givi…

Hi all from sunny Cardiff. New to the forum as I have just bought my first Virago 125. Trying to relive my youth when I had a Yamaha RD 250 when they first came out, as well as other bikes over the years. Not been a rider now for 20 years but got the bug again, must be mad so I decided to buy a, do upper, ( see my other post) You will prob, be hearing from me quite a bit, asking silly questions as and when I get started with the repairs of the XV125 I have bought, so please be patient with me Cheers Carl

Hi and thanks for the add. I am 45 and live in Somerset. My riding days are pretty much behind me now so instead i tend to collect 80's 125cc. I have 2x DT125LC mk1 ,DTR125 ,TZR125, AR125, DT50MX and am on the look out for a RD125LC to add to the set. At present I am restoring the DT50MX for my lad to ride when he comes of age, enjoying the memories that are flooding back whilst do this. Anyway that's me folks.

Hi guys, My name is Al and I'm a born again biker. I rode a Suzuki GSX250 as a commuter on a learner licence until just before my son was born and I stopped riding to watch him grow up. 16 years later and I had an itch that needed to be scratched so I bit the bullet and took a few lessons and now am fully road legal. On Monday I took possession of a 1990 XJ600 (Pre Diversion model), but it's rained since and more storms are forecast for the next week so I've only had 50 or so miles under my belt since picking it up!! I'm looking forward to getting a few miles under my belt and improving my skills and also to reading a few of the forum topics. Cheers Al

Hi,new owner of a slightly ropey looking xj900f,however mechanically in great condition. It has been...tastefully turned into a cafe racer which is how I bought it and will be undoing all the work to turn it into a naked or faired muscleish looking xj. Currently running pods which are tuned to almost perfection and has taken me ages to get there however will be looking at going back to standard airbox as winter will soon be here and want wet weather protection!! Will no doubt be asking many many questions!!! Cheers. Nev
