Hi There, I have decided to get another bike, been without for 20 or so years having had a several DT & IT 175's back in the early 80's. I had a QZ 250e quad for 2 years which as fun but did not really scratch the itch for a bike so i have decided to get myself something approaching classic which i can restore, ride and enjoy. I am thinking a 79-81 DT250 MX as i have always wanted one since riding one when i was 16.

Morning folks I have discovered the forum whilst searching for a solution to a wee problem with my boys 1992 sr125. I will post the issue in the tech section. I've been riding bikes since 1981, and currently I ride a 1997 xjr1200 in Deep Red. I have owned it for just over a year and consider myself lucky to still have my licence. Being used to old Brit bikes, it has been an eyeopener getting used to a very responsive throttle. Anyway I'm looking forward to checking the forum and posting here and there

Morning all I was 67 last month and I bought a Yamaha Virago 535 here in Thailand for my birthday. At my age it will probably be my last bike and to buy it I sold my Honda Phantom to a mate who lives in Germany. He leaves it here for when he comes across for his monthly holiday every year. When I got the Yamaha he told me that when I finally give up biking I can keep the Honda and he will take on the Yamaha. I get the best of both worlds that way. Cheers

Morning. Saying Hi more than anything. Im Joe. the main reason im here is for my other half who has just brought her first bike, and im trying to get the lowdown on what the bike is like and where the best place to get spares and bits and bobs. It is a little tatty and needs some work. New front mudguard, left hand fairing, and a few other bits. YZF600R Thundercat. It has done a few miles 40K but as its her first bike I don't think that's too much of a worry. Any pointers and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Yallo just thought i would register an say hello, i have been lurking for a while on here after being given a dt175mx. To say the bike is in a bit of a mess, is a bit of an understantment, but its my first 2 stroker so looking forward to seeing if it will live again engine out i think its safe to say, i need to replace the swing arm, the flywheel side of the casing was left off - an has sat like that for 10 years in a garden - i dont hold much hope for it to be honest... wish me luck!

Morning everyone, Just in the process of getting back into the bike I had as a kid, Yammy rd50mx. I had a 1/4 share of a bike with 3 other mates as only one of us was allowed to have a bike haha. So now have a 1984 black bike as a small project as the money is doing nothing in the bank and the bike will be more fun for a while. Hopefully there will be a Rd50 owners meet somewhere in North Wales at some point. Cheers for now Mark

Hi, folks! My name is Erik Peters and I would like to ask for a helping hand. I’m a German motorcycle journalist and I intend to produce a motorcycle travel video about Scotland soon. Therefore, I am looking for people who live in Scotland and can show me some typical Scottish things. It would be great to find someone, who, for example, participates in the highland games or someone who plays the backpipe. Maybe someone here is a chef and can show me how to prepare a real good haggis (I really like it!:-)). And, of course, it would be great to meet some bikers who can show me their favourite places or pubs. There are so many other things I am looking for. So, any ideas I …

Hello My wife and I are a Canadian couple, living in Zambia. We are currently developing the only Sports Academy for Orphans and Underprivileged Youth in this part of the world. We are in an area with more than 5000 orphans living in about 100 square km around our place, close to Victoria Falls, Zambia. We have a variety of sports that we will implement with the orphans, ranging from football to tennis. In a few months, we will leave Zambia on our motorbike, Yamaha Super Tenere and head to Japan, throughout Africa, Europe (all the way to Nordkapp, Norway) then east to Russia, Japan, then to the West Coast of Canada, US, down to South America to raise funds for our or…

Hi Everyone I'm Richard a new member from the UK Trying to remove the drive sprocket on my 2011 MT-03 660. Bent back the tabs on the tab washer but I can't seem to budge the nut. Don't have a pneumatic impact gun so using a 2 ft long bar, person on bike, both brakes on. Still no-go so I'm wondering if its a left hand thread or there's a trick I'm missing? Don't want to use heat as I have an O-Ring chain, plus not sure if there is a nearby output shaft seal or similar. Any suggestions gratefully received. Richard
