Hi, my name is Tim. I'm Irish currently living in the uk near brighton. I've recently bought a yamaha sr125 for my first bike. I use it mainly for commuting and I thought this forum would be a good place to get any advise when things go wrong, as I'm a complete novice! Looking forward to getting involved.

Hi, just joined the club as I’m due to get a BT1100 in 10 days time. I’ve been riding bikes for 50 yrs!! I know, can’t believe it myself. Anyway, I’ve always had a bike, but this will be my first Yam. I’ve got a CB750 that I’m doing up but wanted something to have a bit of fun on & didn’t want another in-line 4, so here we are. I hope to get some help & info from other Bulldog owners on here & look forward to chatting with you. Cheers from Windy.

  4. Hi, I am new to this forum so want to start by saying Hi 🙂 I live in the London area, London England. I have owned many bikes over the years and traded in my Yamaha Radian for a new bike around about 2006 and regretted the sale straight away. I tried to get it back again about 2 weeks later but the dealer had moved it on to a auction and had lost contact with it 😞 I have been searching the web and notice that it is still MOT'd every year (September) but never seems to get riden more than 100 miles or so of use each year. The reg No is C535 FAH, if this is your bike, or if you know of it's whereabout I would like to know 🙂 One day I wou…

  6. Hi All, Nice to be here. I did my CBT last year in October then promptly failed my mod 1 on a 650cc by putting my foot down on the u-turn. Since then I sat out the worst of the weather I just picked up a 2009 WR 125X on ebay, it's getting delivered on Wednesday So I'm going to spend a few months having a bit of fun, getting a load of slow riding practice before going for the DAS and getting a bigger bike. I went for a WR 125X as I thought it'd be a fun bike to hang onto longer term as a cheaper city runabout. Haven't yet decided on the type of bigger bike! Anyway, I have a quick question. I know it'll suck to put a top case on a WR 125X, but I'm going …

Hi, just joined the site. I own a 1999 TDM850, travelled a bit with it and still think its one of the best all round bikes going. I live on he Isle of Man but enjoy travelling further afield when possible. Looking for meets and tours and maybe a few tips on the way. Got a trip planned over to France, though the Black Forrest and into Switzerland in July with my BMW riding mates, any tips would be good. Went through France and Belgium last year, bike didn't miss a beat. Hope to meet new friends through the site. Cheers Rob

Hi to all forum members, My Nname is Steve and I amd from Leicester originally, but now live in Lincoln. I have had loads of Yamaha's over the years from YCS3 to Fazer 1000, current project is a 1977 spoke wheeled XS 250 with 6000 miles from new, It was ridden for 4 years then stuck in a shed, Not sure at the moment how faithful to original the rebuild will be, I suppose it will all depend on what original parts I can get hold of, biggest issue by far seems to be exhausts, Look forward to chatting with some of you in the future. Regards Steve

Hi everyone I am Caleb. I live in the Waikato region in NZ. I just got given a yamaha motorbike and I have no idea what it is. It needs some work so I was hoping I could get some help identifying. I took some photos and I would have attached them but the size limit is crazy. It has a 2500cm3 stamped on the motor and judging by a date on the I'd tag it's from 86. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Hi guys, Just a quick note to say hi, I'm new to this biking malarkey, passed my test five years ago and never bought a bike until May this year when I went for an SV650S. Great bike, however not for me, I loved the torque, the power, the noise, the looks but the riding position and the constant vibration through my wrists giving me pins and needles meant it was more of a chore to ride the thing. So I started looking for something a bit more upright, I looked at Bandits, Fazers and the like but kept coming back to the Diversion. Luckily I found a mint 60 plate Diversion S at my local dealership for just shy of £3k, 8000 miles, black, standard bike, really well loo…

Just joined the Forum having bought a Yamaha XJ600N last week. Been riding for over 30 years - started with an old RS100, before having in order (sorry but going to use the name of a few other manufacturers now) Suzuki X7 & GSX400, Kawasaki Z250, Keeway 250 Cruiser (well it was my first time back on a bike after a 19 year gap!), Fazer FZS600, Suzuki GSX750ES & Kawasaki Z550 Limited. Bike history out of the way - approaching 50 and commute to the office everyday come rain or shine. Do most of my own work on my bikes but Mrs BristolWhite has banned me from touching the new one..lol Looking forward to joining in on the forums. Cheers!
