Hi everyone I have a barrel, piston and head off a 1M1. I know its off a dt250 but was wondering what the difference was between the 1M1 and the 1R7 engine. It is a spare so I am going to put on ebay once i am sure what bike its off. When researched it says its off a dt250f 1979. The 1R7 it says is off a dt250 1977-1980, hence the confusion. yo all i was wondering if any 1 nows where i can get some decals for a 91 dt125 as i got this bike crashed and fixed things on it i have now sprayed my panels and its all gd only think missing now is the decals thx funky..

Ive currently bought a full DEP pipe for it (recommended to any one with a DT) and about to fit race reeds but i know its expensive when they go wrong so does any one know roughly how many miles before i should change them? cheers for your help

Hi I have recently bought a DTR125r on a S plate 1998. I need help in derestricting it. I have removed the the restrictor out of the front of the exhaust. I know there are more restrictors on the bike and need info on removing them. I have bought a full racing pipe for this bike. Hi all!! I was just wondering if anyone around here knows where i can get a full dt125r decal/sticker set. I have been looking all over the internet for them and have had no luck!! So could somebody tell me a website where i could find them..or maybe tell me of another set of decals that would fit a dt and where I could get them!!? Thanx

any one any idea how i plug the power valve servo into the bike on a 1989 bike? i hav looked high and low for the plug and come ti the conclussion the bike doesnt have the plug so any one have any ideas how i get my power valve to work?the power valve motor ive got has a 4 pin plug and a seperate wire and from the wiring diagram all go to the cdi unit ,my bike has a spare plug with black and brown wires and another single wire,any ideas how to wire up this motor?

I think it's fairly well known that I'm a big fan of Yamaha...both their products and the company itself. hi can anyone tell me how to check the oil level on a 2003 xt600e,i changed the oil and the oil level is different every time i check it. sometimes it shows no oil run it and it has too much ????????the is in the frame. many thanks

For those of you still stuck in dear old Blighty, and having to contend with sub zero temperatures and all the trails getting closed.....here's something that I'm sure will cheer you up! Took an hour's break from house-hunting, making Spanish friends, and avoiding fuckwit Brits, by taking the XT350 for a jaunt. It hadn't seen the light of day for about 2 weeks, so I thought I'd give it a quick spin down the road. hi guys im new here, im having problems with my engine rebuild on my dt125r its a 00 model, to start with there was water in the crankcase when i bought it but i never thought much of it as i was buying it to rebulid anyway, but now iv stripped the head and barrel off and checked the condition of the barrel and piston and all seems fine... but when i hold the con rod and lift i can feel slight play (up and down play) is this ok or do i need to replace bearings? the bike is for off road use only so doesnt need to be perfect.. and wot oil is best to use? cheers for any help.... oh and wot would be the cause of water in the crnkcase???

.....for the XT350! For those of you who don't know the history of this bike....the wife saw it stored at the back of an old carpet clearance warehouse in Mid Wales last June. She told me about it, so I went and made enquiries and it turned out that it belonged to the shop owner. Apparently he'd bought it some years previously, rode it to his warehouse, and just never used it. It was 14 years old, original tyres and battery with a verifiable 5300 miles from new.
