A friend who has been away from bikes for far too long keeps taking the p*** out of me for having a fazer and asking when I'll get a 'proper' bike. I can only presume he knows nothing about how damn fine my pride and joy is, he reckons when he was riding (many years ago) fazers weren't very good. I've tried to find info about my 2003 fazer and can only find the newer model info. I'd like to know the 0-60 and bhp/tonne, anyone have any ideas?

Hey guys where do you buy your decals, I'm currently searching for 2 Yamaha stickers about 14'' each. That'd be great if I could buy those from a desing shop online, who need to pay for original stickers at double the price of a design shop! Thanks BeerBaron

I can't deny the Divvy 900 is a great bike, comfortable, plenty of torque, and a great riding position for teaching, but........well basically i'm bored with it now! :shock: On the downside, it's big, cumbersome, heavy and, as my girlfriend calls it, an old mans bike-chair!! :x A friend of mine owns a second-hand bike showroom and workshop, and has taken a '98 S reg Fazer 600 in p/x for another. any of you rode or owned a tdm? just wondering what they are like as i have seen a few for sale and they look quite tempting. i've heard about the gearboxes being pretty naff but apart from that not much else. what are they like performance/handling wise? any info would be appreciated...... 8)

right i have a yamaha dt12r 1991 year the person i got it of done some stuff to it and it tops out at 80 with to me is gd for a dt as my m8s dt 2003 year only does 65-70mph i want to put a dep full system on it and k&N filter on it does any 1 now any gd sites so get this stuff of and can i put the wheel's of a rd125lc on to my dt to upermoto it???? all comments welcome thx for help! funky

how well does the cruiser market do in Europe and other parts of the world ? Im curious cuz i have visited a lot of places and it seems that the cruiser market is geared toward Harley-lovers ONLY I bought a Yamaha V Star cuz it looks like a Fat Boy and cost less than half the price of a new Harley; AND i didnt have to deal with long waiting periods ! so who owns one ??

the xj600(pre divvie model) i have is a bit of a pain in the rs to start when hot eg. riding round town in traffic. when cold it starts up in an instant but then once warm you have to turn it over a good bit till it fires, any ideas would be appreciated

All, I am new to this forum and wanted to pick everyones brain. I have just put a deposit down here in the UK on a 1994 model FZR600. I have been checking various insurance websites and it seems I should have found out something before they closed which is what brings me here. According to the insurers websites there was an FZR600 Genesis which was made roughly 1989-1994 and an FZR600R which was made from 1994 onwards which is where my confusion lies as mine is a 1994 model. I sold the YZF today, I dont know whether I'm happy or sad, I had a few plans for it if it hadn't sold, oh well. Well I wonder what I'll end with now, still looking for the FJ12 mind you, but there's nothing for sale. I did call up about a FZR1k streetfighter (and before anyone says anything), it might have the flattish bars or it, plus he might not have raised the seat rails. But I guess time will tell what I get.

Thats what I was told yesterday, for those of you (me inc) who a YZF750 if you blow your exhaust (not inc the end can) Yamaha do not thats right do not!! make pipes for the YZF750 anymore. Thats what the guy in Ride On said yesterday, when he was on the fiche, even he was bloody surprised, I mean ffs a 10 yr old bike!!!. I can still get new parts (not that I need them) for a 2/350 LC, so what the fuck is the problem with mine. Well Iv'e got letter written out to send to Yam to find out just what the fuck's goin' on, like I said to them at the end of the letter. So what are we supposed to do scrap the fuckin' bike!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Where can I get a new (if thats the only way) exhaust system (minus the end can) for a YZF750. I was the M&P site ect and everyone seems to do just end cans.
