For those of us in the Sarf, The Huntsman MCC are holding their annual motorcycle show on 27th July. This is at the Huntsman pub in Eridge, Kent, TN3 9LE. Never been but I've got a mate who lives near there and he says it's always a good day out (but he rides a Triumph Bonneville so his judgement might be suspect ).

Havn't been out on the bike for a while, the last time out it pissed down and my arse and balls got soaked. So popped out today to get some waterproof trousers. It was only about a 20 minute ride but it was nice to get out while the sun was shinning. Came home the long way via the Pirbright bends which I haven't been on since I stopped commuting several years ago. No trafic on the roads brilliant, and I used to be lucky enough to ride these bends 5 days a week for about 15 years. I need to do this more often.

Went along last Tuesday to a local bike meet at what used to be an old cafe - now a personal museum. Had a go on this little beauty: An old Honda Greeves. Just had a downpour so the grass was a little slippery but great fun nonetheless! Wont let me upload any more pics!

Went to Southport this afternoon to test the camera out. bloody thing fell off my helmet, luckily just turning a corner at traffic lights in Lord street and can say its fine. they have a satin rubbery finish on the case which the velcro didn't stick to very well. i also forgot to set the mode so I have to crank my head over 90' to watch it anyway was a good ride out and I learned a lot (what not to do)

was talking to Brad at work and asked if he was going to Pasty and pea night at Rivvy. Nooo, he's off to settle for fish and chips straight from work. i thought bollocks asked my line manager if i can get out early and yes, its on. so tonight i just did 100 miles with 2 BMW 1000rs's and they took me down some cracking new roads to me into Settle village, had a lovely chippy tea and a late night romp home. Life does'nt get better than that

Had a great ride out today. Sun shone and I got diverted from the Cat and Fiddle (road works I recon) but had an even better ride as the road was even better with no average speed cameras till the end. Got to Matlock bath and had a brew then rode down the A6 and just chilled. Got caught in the rain at Dovehole and wasn't very nice but soon got back into the sunshine and decided to go to Rivvy. Saw this nicely presented Camino. I think they sold these in catalogues?
