Afternoon all. Does anyone know if the rear fender from an xvs950 will fit on my xvs1300a. Just wondered if anyone has swapped them over. Don't particularly fancy paying silly money for an aftermarket fender. Cheers .

Was speaking about this a while ago in the mods section Just to help the other members understand the lingo and commonly used phrases a little better, so lets get posting! Just to start: Peeps - Group of people or simians Grouched - Your bike is broken and you are upset about it Venting the marinade - Unzipping your waterproofs and unleashing that fart you let out about half an hour ago

Any fs1e owners out there rembr the duels in 1975/6 erra , when the fissies used to take off get big lead then the garelli"s used to reel them in [ third gear] Then change into 4th and die a death. [esp, if on incline] for the fissie to pass again then the garelli changed down 3rd to pass again [with that sick howl] all this at between 40/ 50 mph. Them italians never could work out ratio"s [ahem where were the A.P.50 & SS HONDAS ] Still back in town

Hey guys. having problems with my 2003 XVS 125. It will go into 1st gear but not any other gear, when i managed to get it into 2nd gear and back into neutral the engine will not start now. The gear problem came about because the gear pedal was hit from the front. Does any body have any idea what could be done to fix this issue-i.e if there is a linkage in the gearbox of some thing that would require replacing? cheers

Hi everyone. just been doing a bit of research. im currently 16 and paid £180 for Third party fire and theft insurance on my 1989 Yamaha DT50MX with Swinton bikes it will cost me £117 for TP F&T insurance on my Yamaha DT50 next year, when im 17 and have taken a full bike test but only £153 TP F&T on a honda CB250. as opposed to about £1,500 for insuring a car. So, having done my research i have concluded that it will be cheaper and easier to take my full bike test and get a honda CB250 instead of getting a car which will cost more to run and more for insurance, lessons e.t.c. BUT, is there a yamaha equivelant to the honda CB250 that would cost ab…

Geez, that didn't last long Following Camels recent announcement, Yamaha Factory Racing would like to express its thanks to Camel and Japan Tobacco International for their partnership and support over the 2006 MotoGP season. Our thanks go out to all those involved in the project; they have formed an important part of our team over the past year. It has been a great honour for Yamaha to work with such an experienced sponsor and Camels enthusiasm throughout the season has been greatly appreciated by the entire Yamaha Factory Racing Team and the Yamaha Motor Group. It'll be interesting to see who ends up being their main sponsor.

Im really annoyed about this and want to make everyone buying this bike aware of my situation. First of all I love this great 600cc Yam its great for commuting to work in the summer months, which is the main reason I bought it. I bought the bike in June 2008, and one of the selling features were the bike was covered by a 2year warranty, and required servicing every 6000miles or Annual. What i didnt know and had no reason to suspect an issue with was the rip off servicing schedule requirments of this bike. Apparently if you ride the bike like me "low mieage you are penalised". Just had the bike 12 months so booked it in to have its Annual service (covered 3361mile…
