I'v just bought a pile of bits a rd250dx 1977 but it has no V5, the DVLA can't issue on frame number but suggested i contact an owners club, Can anybody help the frame no' is 1A2-208814 a silver 1977 model Cheers [email protected]

Hi guys Am new on here, I have a yzf r125 and last night someone tried to steal it. Luckily they didnt get it started as i have the alarm with immobilizer etc fitter, but they have smashed the ignition barrel so i cant get the key in to start it. I have already ordered a new ignition barrel (just from a parts website, i couldnt seem to find official Yamaha parts so hope its ok) but what i am struggling to find is the haynes manual for the R125, can see them on amazon for the R1 and R6 but not the R125, can someone let me know if there actually is one? and if so where can i find it! Hi Everyone, Hope you are all well and thankyou for looking at this topic. Right my yamaha DT125LC engine is not starting and we have stripped down the carb and blown it all out and we also looked at the top bit where the piston is and it all looks ok yesterday we replace the piston rings but no different and looks like it may need a rebore and just wondered what sort of price it would cost or anything that could be causing this not to start there is ab good spark would really really appreciate your advise . I want the bike, but it has it's problems and I dont want to just be wasting money on a junk heap if I cant ever get it going. Am i the only woman who wonders WHY the fuck pillion passengers wear high heels? Went out for a bimble last night on Elvira to the local biker haunt for some food when 2 identical bikes pulled in each with a pillion. Both wearing the same jacket, jeans and high heels!! Now am i just being a grouch or am i missing something? Im a bit of a "down in the dirt" biker - i dont believe that, if you are a woman, being done up to the nines, with a face full of slap, wearing the tightest pair of keks you can find and a pair of high heels is a requirement to ride pillion, not to mention they aint gonna do much if the bike goes down - so what is it exactly that i am missing?

Hey folks, I was thinking last night that maybe it would be cool to see if i could dig out / find any history on the CB chop that i have just bought, but is this actually possible? All i have got is a frame number and engine number and just know that it was imported from the States? Is there any sites that anyone knows of that gives history of vehicles over the pond? would love to find out who the owner was back in the day. Also i have to try and get hold of a dating certificate, anyone know the best way to do that as well?
