Hey Everyone, I'm new to the club and was wondering if someone could help me out. Last week i was coming home from work and I ran over a nail. I didn't notice anything because my tire still had full pressure in it. It was when I was getting gas that i saw the nail's head. I put a plug in it and so far it seems to be fine (about 200 miles). Should i order a new tire asap or would it be ok for the rest of the season? Thanks for reading.

OK folks; I've enrolled on an evening motorcycle maintenance course in order to exorcise my mechanical klutz demons. We start getting our hands dirty as of tonight. Coincidentally, I saw a 1981 RD250LC up for sale this weekend. It's an ex-proddie racer being sold as a runner in need of work. The shop owner said that he is assured that it runs and he's turned it over but not fired it up. bodywork is good and the bike looks OK on first cursory glance. I know that the exhausts have been opened up and gutted but not of anything else that's been done to it as yet. I was wondering whether it would be a relatively easy project and whether it would be worth starting on. I d…

Pulled over yesterday, "Just a quick check sir" No great shakes, gave me a chance to have a fag (the ash tray on my bike was full), Whilst one officer walked slowly round and round the bike, Probably wishing he had one, The other was reading my papers, And having a chat (as they do) AS IF, Probably checking for signs of alcohol / hangover, It being 8 ish new years morning, who in there right mind would be cruising in the bitter cold, (well i would), My query is, Don`t they just put your index number in there computer, And receive Bike / owner details, Strait away?, I know they were probably checking ME out, Any insight into this GAS-UP?.

6 year olds/proverbs Sorry if been posted before, I love these though! A grade one teacher collected well known proverbs. She gave each child in her class the first half of a proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of the proverb. It's hard to believe these were actually done by grade one kids ("6"year-olds), because the last one is classic! Strike while the ..........................insect is close. Never underestimate the power of............ants. Don't bite the hand that....................looks dirty. Better to be safe than......................punch a grade 7 boy. If you lie down with dogs, you'll...........stink in the morning. It's al…
