I just picked up an 89 FZR1000R for £250. Needs some work, but all there. Got loads of EXUP parts so plan to have it on the road march-ish. got a lovely SP Engineering end can on it, a new chain (still in the packaging), 2 new tyres, had oil and filter before being taken off the road, blokes back has gone. They are starting to appreciate, so hopefully fix up the top fairing (i have the same one, unpainted, someone gave me), insure it (£98 with no NCB) and have a usable classic. The only worry is my garage is now full to the brim....

Hi all - just put deposit down on new FZ1-S Fazer in red, picking it up next week. Should maybe have asked before putting my money down, any advice for a new FZ1-S owner? Many of you in East Sussex - I'm interested in meeting up with folk for rides. Back to bikes after a long break so not looking for anything too ambitious. Look forward to hooking up with some of you soon.

Mark Talbot (TarkMalbot) raced with Coyote Racing in the first two rounds of the KRC Endurance Championship. As the youngest rider (ever, I think), he did an amazing job on the Yamaha R1 and helped bring the the highest results we've ever had. Unfortunately, Mark was unable to do the last 2 due to finance and as we speak he cannot finish the season at Donington for the same reason. Coyote Racing would love to have Mark do the last race of the season with us as he started the season with us and we have missed having him. It will also be nice to end the season with a full Adopt a Racer team again. You can find out more about Coyote Racing at http://www.coyote-raci…

Just thought i'd pop this up. Guy at work has just picked up a mint, never seen rain 15000 mile 2003 gsxr 750. It is in truly stunning condition. Good value buy, not overpriced. around 2k I think he paid for it. Power commander, pipe, usual trinkets. Arm fulls of receipts, notes on when services are due and done. Receipts back years. Recommendations on the high quality oil he used etc. The polish even. Guy had to sell for financial reasons, washed it more than rode it by the sounds of it. The kicker, I have mentioned john before as the guy rides year round whatever the weather on the 400, that's a 65000 mile gsxr 400 and uses mother natures heavy rain in ap…

A man is sitting at home watching TV one night, when there is a knock at the door. The man annoyed at missing his programme answers the door to find a 6ft Stag Beetle standing on the step. After he asks the beetle what the hell it is doing calling at such a late hour, the creature lays into him with a series of vicious kicks and punches, It then walks away whilst the man crawls back into his house to call for an ambulance. At the Hospital the man is reluctant to tell the Doctor how he came about his injuries, but eventually realtes the incredible tale of the Stag Beetle, expecting to be laughed at. To his surprise the Doctor is sympathetic, explaining to the man …

recently purchased a DT125 RE 2006 for £1300, which i thought wasn't bad with 12000 and only unrestricted since 10000, reliable etc etc etc Anyway spoke to a mate of mine who rides bikes, he said, never sell it, even if you dont ride it, keep it as they are only going to go up in price because they dont make 2 stroke's anymore. That true?? And why have they stopped making 2 strokes?? Did a bit of reading up, and people were saying emissions, surely that cant be true??? all the shite that China and India pump out and they stopped making 2 strokes because of their emissions??? We could literally turn EVERYTHING off in this country and it wouldnt make any neg…

Alright guys and gals. Any one got any recommendations on which double bubble looks best for the 08 R6? I need to change my stock one, and cant decide which to plump for? Looking at the Puig, seems good but can only get one image. What have the rest of you guys got? Cheers Nick

Doug Henry (born September 6, 1969) is a multi-time AMA championship-winning motocross racer. Doug is a fan-favorite in the sport for his guts and determination, as well as his never-say-die attitude while making comebacks from potentially career-ending injuries. Henry broke his back on March 4, 2007, in a Supermoto race. He now suffers partial paralysis from the waist down, but if you think this stopped him from doing his thing- THINK AGAIN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ItYINHMg7Y An inspiration if ever i saw one!

Ok so this is completely my fault and its due to a lack of experience, (and being wet behind the ears) I have bent the down pipe assembly on one side where the down pipe actually bolts to the front of the engine (I have only managed to do this on 2 of the 4 rings which secure to the front of the engine) has anyone got any reasonable suggestions for trying to straighten these back out as the holes where the screws should go are now out of line by a few mm and it wont reattach to the front of the bike.Ah the joys of being a young an in-experienced DIY mechanic. :'( any help as ever is greatly appreciated.

Really loving riding at the moment. Apart from having to shadow hop when I park it, I am having a lot of fun... Is there anyone here from Hampshire or local to Hampshire?

So installed new exhaust and down pipe to my 125 virago, however the jubilee type clip used to secure the downpipe to filter box does absolutely nothing it seems, exhaust gasses still come out the gaps and can't see why it would make a seal, any ideas what I can use or do, I've pushed the downpipe in as far as it can go and seems almost too narrow to make a decent seal.

hello everyone, hope someone can help me out with this...on my dragstar 650. If i turn on the contact (key), i hear a kind of a "buzzer" sound. Goes away after a few seconds. I had it before, but only sporadic. Now it seems to do it every time i turn the contact key to on. thanks Peter

hi there, I'm looking for a fuel cap for my XVS 650 (1997 model) I'm finding it very hard to find one. i was driving along yesterday and it flew off as i was driving, the spring broke of the release mechanism, hopped along the road and into the ditch by the time i pulled up and ran back i couldn't find it, gone forever... That's what you get for not fixing the damn thing in the first place. I looked up wemoto.com and mandp.co.uk and they don't have them in stock. It's a rare enough item i would imagine. So hence why i am here now. Any advice of where to look? I know in the states that V-star is the equivalent of the drag star, but my model is 1997 and it only came…

Does anyone here know anything about 'Draggin Jeans'? I keep seeing them advertised and they appeal as a kind of compromise between leather jeans and plain denim for the 'nip down to the shop' sort of trip which is where so many people seem to come unstuck. At least with the Kevlar incorporated into the fabric they must offer a higher degree of protection than anything else, not withstanding full on gear, but at about £90 a pair I would like to hear some opinions about them before I shell out. Any info appreciated. Andy
