Got the chance of a '79 xs650se, been stood for a few years. Battery knackered, lovely motor, a bit tarnished. How much should I pay? It's been resprayed, fairly original apart from that. Big spoke, mag wheels. Seat ripped. Could anyone advise me? Wook

hello.. im hoping someone can help me , im wanting to talk to my mate when we go down to brans next wkend, he has a tomtom which he can recieve phone calls through his helmet, i have a auto com// easicom, i have my music coming through and hopfully my phone saughted today,, but what im wondering is if were to get a set of walkie talkies so we can put them through our devises so it doesnt cost wa to talk, and also very handy for the police.. can anyone tell me a decient set that we could use.. dont want to spend a fortune as to be honest i think we have most of the gear but just need a set of walkie talkies which will work at 70mph.. or faster.. im also hoping you can te…

Hello, Unfortunatley as off saturday just gone I can no longer use my Fazer I was pulling out a juction and the back end slip on a damp patch causing a hell of a lot of damage to my bike. So it looking like a write off. I swill try and get some pics of it.

Hi all, I've just bought a '93 FZR600 (my first Yamaha) so I thought it would be rude not to find a Yammy forum and join. I first rode a bike in the sunny summer of 1978 - it was a Maserati - but I'm by no means a seasoned veteran and I'm certainly no racer. I've done a couple of trackdays though and I don't mind the odd venture off road either (purposefully if possible). In short I like to bimble around the twisties and catch up on all the bullsh!t at the burger stops. I'm in the North West, close to some darn good biking roads, which is nice. Take it easy and ride safe.

I bought my first 84 FJ11 in 97, kept it stock for a couple years & then decided to pull it all apart to do the usual mods to her. Well life & the missus soon got in the way, and it was sittin in the back shed (still in pieces) till last year when I suddenly got a bit of inspiration. Have had a few bikes in between, but as hard as I try I cant get the FJ's outa my system. I got half way thru the rebuild & and suddenly found another FJ11 on the net. IS it me or have the government just shot them self in the foot yet again??? i notice that they would like people to stop spenidng money on booze from a supermarket and want you to go to the local pub... Well why did in todays bill they just put more tax on booze??? Clearly not clever, and then the car market, we will give you £2000 towards a new car if you scrap your old one, yet we will also put up petrol tax too because we dont feel we are making enough money, yet most of the petrol price is tax anyways...... what do you all think???

well, today it happened. for the first time in about 6 months my trusty thrusty little DT let me down . after weeks of sunny weather the heavens decided to open and it has p*ssed it down almost non-stop all day, and whilst i was at school the DT was left outside in the elements for six hours, so i come out and jumped straight on it, started 2nd kick with the choke on and ldled nicely, but as i get to the end of the street it started four-stroking and wouldn't rev above 2-3k, i thought nothing of it at the time because the bike was still cold. i manage to get it out on the main road and keep up with the flow of traffic by "adjusting" the fuel tap to get it r…

Thanks to everyone who has messaged me asking me if im ok/where i am/what im doing etc. Ive been really busy past couple of weeks trying to get my dissertation finished - which is done, and handed in now - yaaaaay! I have exams starting 16th May so im now busy revising. Hi all, I recently bought an R6 03 plate, and have only just noticed that the mileage on the odometer does not match the last MOT certificate... is there anyway to tell if the bike has been clocked? is the mileage recorded in the ECU? Any help/advice would be much appreciated Andy

Hi im currently in the market for a yamaha TZR 125 there is jus a couple of things im missin nd dont no much about the first is can the models that have been de-restricted to 33bhp be re-restricetd to 12 bhp as a learner i need the restriceted model. the next question is can all the models at 12 bhp be de restriceted up to the 33 bhp??? thanks any comments welcome cheers sampso

1994 import model. Black/blue. Immaculate condition to the extent it still has the original stickers on the petrol tank, chain guard, shocks and forks. Less than 24,000Km. Original exhaust still in excellent condition. Slight dink on silencer. New f pads, battery and Scott oiler. Been dry stored for the past 4 years but run up regularly. Im getting to old and knackered to manage a big bike so Ive got a XV535 to potter around on. Any ideas whats its worth? ATB Joshua

Well hello one and all! My name is Bex, I passed my test in June and have recently bought an '09 xj6n in white. Very nice it is too 'cept i dropped it on my first attempt at riding hey ho...very little damage sustained so not too sad.
