Hi, About to change coolant in my XJ6 Diversion 2010, I have found some Motorcycle Coolant on the well known auction site sold by Demon Tweaks and made by Castrol but before purchase I would like to know what others recommend/use. Many Thanks

Fancied a little bike to relive my youth and came across the TZR 50 and loved it's looks so much I bought it (wasn't even looking for a 50), went out on it with a friend of mine on his restored 350lc and found my little ped actually flew and was going faster than the speedo would tell me. It hits a powerband in every gear at 6000 rpm and he clocked me at 64mph going into the red in top gear (had a bit left in it but I didn't want to hold it in the red). Anyway my question is is my flying ped likely to have had a big bore kit fitted somewhere down the line or can this be achieved with the stock motor?

I was at work today and I got a phone call from my mum saying the police were at my address and that they had pulled over a van containing my bike. The pricks had come into the car park (Shared by Leicestershire police) and put the bike in their van. They managed to make it 3 miles with the bike before being pulled over for looking shifty as f**k. I have posted my place of work and the fact I had a new bike on this forum, and I do wonder if they have been scouting on here and decided to come and collect it. Hi guys, My 125 Virago is going to garage for service tomorrow but would like some advice so I have a rough idea what to expect, basically The front cylinder runs fine but rear one doesn't at all, so I swapped the leads round and now neither starts, anyone know what would be the problem, it's been Sat around for 4 months

Attention YBR owners, I've heard a common issue with the YBR is a clutch that judders on the last little bit of the clutch throw as you're letting it out, apparently it's been like that for as long as the engine has been around. Anyone found a way to fix this? This judder really is starting to get on my nerves, it's impossible to pull away smoothly without burning my clutch unnecessarily. (And yes, I've tried adjusting my clutch cable a million different times)

My Dragstar 400 rear brake lever is very high and awkward to use from the footpeg, can it be adjust and would footplates help solve the problem.?? If footplates are the way to go where is the best value place?

This may have been brought up before but what do people wear or recommend to wear instead of a leather jacket on those scorching summer days we are promised, I do only mean for getting around town and not long trips,

As you may have gleaned from Tommy XS post, we are hoping to go to spain next year and feel the need to get a suitable steed. My Bar hopper XS won't do and the sports orientated FZ will kill me. So I was thinking a 2 pot and thought of the TDM. Ugly things but the ones with the 270' crank sound good. Any thoughts?

Ok I'm sure someone is gonna answer this pretty quick but I've installed new indicators plain old bulb ones bought from china on ebay, installed rear ones first and checked and they worked fine I've installed front and now only thr front right hand side and left rear side work and they flashing double speed, Any ideas

So at 4:10 this morning I heard a moped and lads talking. They were being loud and not even attempting to be sneaky. I looked out of the window and two of them are sat on the moped and two of them have lifted the cover off of my bike and tampering with it. I banged on the window and shouted at them. Ok you orrible lot, I know you get all frothy with pictures so here you go. Apart from the incredibly frustrating fact that the caliper bolts I ordered are m10x 1.5 and the actual caliper bolts needed are m10x1.25 the wheels are in, the radius on the front muddy maybe looks a little odd. (have dropped it an inch already. And everything on the rear is close but fits. Need to shorten the chain too as the prillia sprocket is 40t not 44, I could have got a 44 but fancied stretching the gearing a little. I may regret it but hey, a lot of my best ideas have been an 'I wonder if.............?'. Here you go I think they look killer. And before....

I've had enough carrying a backpack just to carry my waterproofs and disc lock, can anyone recommend a smallish tail bag I can leave permanently on the bike?

Well anyone going to go out on their bikes this evening? Once ive had my dinner, and there arnt as many tin box junkies on the road i shall get my little bike out and rip up some tarmac! Probably because i'm working loads of OT as of late...........just like I always seem to be doing around my birthday :roll: .........gotta work on Saturday this weekend, but I'm getting next weekend off to take the missus & my little lad out for some camping 8) The weather is starting to finally improve, so I might get the chance to test out the new Ski Boat this Sunday :tu I'd surely rather be RIDING on my birthday, but I'll settle for a well-deserved weekend away from Everything next weekend :wink:
