Okay, I'm not going to say who is arguing what point but here are both sides. Side A ) Buy a cheap bike, learn how to ride on that bike, sell bike, buy wanted bike. Side B ) Simply buy the bike you want, and learn how to ride on that. What do you think?

Seen this on eBay, looks great for a hot day and looks like it would protect skin which would touch the ground if you come off, would you say it's okay to just wear this and be pretty much protected from roadrash etc? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-S-M-Acerbis-KOERTA-2-0-Body-Armour-Motocross-BMX-Downhill-Enduro-/142234104223? It can become a pain commuting to work or other places and needing to wear the massive jacket or trousers with the knee pads, would be great to just throw some armour on over normal jeans and have it cover areas which contact the ground in a slide.

Weathers looking crap this weekend :-( Last wkend was great!.. got out on sat and sunday, totalled about 4hrs I'd say, also had to use the reserve tap for the first time as my brother must've re-set the mileage at some stage... duh!.. and of course, it had to happen at the worst place... (roundabout junction) lol Just out of interest, what range is there on reserve?... (assuming you're riding economically!) regards, -Mits-

o.k. new here so intro first, im jason, experianced rider with passion for 2 stroke. now down to the problem at hand... After many attempts and differing problems my tzr 125 88 made her first cough last week, build from bits with alot of help from ebay and haynes. BUT... she wont start, problem being no (very little) fuel is getting to the engine (spark plug's dry), so 1st thought CARB, checked float hight n condition, jets, pipes, tap, intake, everything, no visable or apparent problems, its a standard 28mm mikuni, custom air filter (k n N), ov bore 1.0 + piston oversize, single ring (top) she intermitently backfires and pisses fuel out from all 3 over flow pipe…

Merv asked for some piccies once they were finished. Paul sends photo's of them so you can see em before he sends them to you. In the pics they look spot on, the gold looks to be just right too. Not anodised, both the hubs and rims have been powder coated as obviously neither the rims or hubs are new enough for anodising without extensive (expensive) work. More so with the rims as the front has a repair (you have to know where to look to see it though) and it means i still have ALL the original bits on the bike. Anyway, all in for under 250quid, rims and hubs were strpped then powder coated, new stainless spokes made specifically for each application. Non…

OMG, this damn bike is working me all the way, every item has been buggerd at some point by either 'it'll do' or the wanna go faster idiots. Screws and fasters fuckt through no more than bad tools, or just not bothering to get the thread square before tightening stuff. The exhaust was fitted badly, the reason, so it would clear the oil pump fittings, the catch? The pipe is designed for a bike that's had the pump removed (its max output is a bit wimpy for big bore kits and tuning so commonly removed). Also the small stuff, the frame is powder blue, I have given up on greasy finger prints. I fitted the carb, the choke arm fouls, because it was bent to clear t…

for peeps who store their bike over Winter, ethanol fuel attracts water and rusts the tank, leaves residue in carbs and rots rubber. Aspen fuel is used to replace this over the winter and is stable for 5 years according to the importers. no idea of the price though http://www.aspenfuel.co.uk/dealers/dealer-locator/

The FBI had an opening for an assassin. After all the background checks, interviews and testing were done there were 3 finalists. Two men and a woman. For the final test, the FBI agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun. "We must know that you will follow your instructions no matter what the circumstances. Inside the room you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Kill Her!" The man said, "You can't be serious, I could never shoot my wife." The agent said, "Then you're not the right man for this job. Take your wife and go home." The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet fo…
