I have a 6 month old majesty 400 on a ride to work in the cold the other day it took on a mind of it's own and when you shut off the throttle an decelerated it was ok down to about 2500 revs about 25mph then ACCELERATED moderatley up to 3000revs then back down to 2500...etc. At other road speeds it seemed ok and at the end of the ride the engine management light lit up just as I arrived at work. It actually climbed the small 50 metre hill outside the workplace on its own!! It behaved the same hot or cold. After work the bike seemed fine with just a littlle hesitancy in decelerating once again at 2500. It seemed to hold it's speed for ab…

Yamaha have set-up a Yard Built dealer contest to promote a bit of healthy competition in their network. Best bit is, many of the parts developed and used on these bikes will soon be available over the counter.

Hi all, first time posting here. I recently bought a YB100 (1980). It is mechanically sound but needs a bit of TLC. In particular, I noticed that the indicator lights do not flash - instead, they just stay lit like a headlight would. I can turn them individually on and off with the switch as normal but they do not flash. All other electrics seem to work fine. In the Haynes manual for the YB100 it mentions a part called the flasher relay, which is supposed to make the indicators flash. So today I took the left hand cover off the bike to see if the relay needed cleaning or replacing. When I looked at the electronics, I found that there appeared to be no flasher relay at all…

Hi all, first time poster here, hoping the good people of the owners club can help me with my problem. I bought my first bike 3 weeks ago. Its an '11 YBR 125. The bike has 200 miles on it I have two questions. Sometimes it is really hard to get the bike into neutral. It either skips neutral and jumps to 2nd or says its in neutral (Light comes on) but jerks forward if I release the clutch. Is this something to worry about? If it is a problem, how do I fix it? Will it go away with more miles? My second question is After I turn the bike off, I hear clicking coming from the engine What is it? Much love to anyone that helps and any…

I've got a YBA 125 Enticer,, the engine rattles and i cant find out what it is, the cam chain is fine. Anyway i've been looking for another engine and have come across a site that says the YBR 125 engine is the same as the one used in my bike,, is this true??. If so, are the mounts in the same place?? and how much can i get one for. Mine is an 03 so would i have to go for one that is nearer my bikes age or will they all fit. Cheers Terry
