My old man just surprised the hell out of me. He just GAVE me his CB175T, 1971, same age as me. Actually younger by a month if your picky. Not mint, not the proper colour just an honest old bike. Prob get it next weekend maybe. Still can't believe it. I did say I wanted first refusal if he ever sold years ago. He has owned it, what 25years I recon.

I did it!! I went on the back of my boyfriend's R1. It is great, all my fears were unwarranted. I really love going on the bike. We went all the way to Brands to see the Superbikes. I've been there before but never seen the bikes race. It was amazing. It was a desperate shame about Craig Jones, my sympathies to his friends and family. I think there is a very good chance that I will be applying to take my test in the not too distant future. I now understand what ALL the fuss is about LOL!!! Maria

Hi there, just joined the site. I recently bought a 2009 WR125 and the engine light is permanently on, not flashing. The last owner said this happened when somebody knocked the bike over. Im also having problems with the neutral light, sometimes the bike doesn't recognise when it is in neutral. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The bike seems to be running well. Many thanks, Nick

Hey Guys, I just bought a WR200 and its a 1995 Model. Im after a clutch cable for it but most places (including Ballards) say the model finished in 1992 and they dont listings for a 1995 model. The clutch cable apparently is also not interchangeable with 1992 models. According to wiki the WR200 is 'related' to the DT200. Are the DT & WR the same bike? Are the parts interchangeable? please help!

I had my WR fully rewired a while ago and was told by the guy that because it's DC or AC or whatever he couldn't add indicators. Still charged me an obscene amount for the job, granted he did a tidy job and I've never had issues with it since. Was just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to how I'd go about doing this as I've seen some WR's out there with indicators on them. I've got the indicator switch on the handlebar already. many thanks John

Hi. I wrecked my brand new 2006 R6 learning to ride it. To keep a long story short, I'm a huge idiot who made a 10,000 mistake. I can't take pictures detailing the damage yet, but I can describe a bit of the damage. The front end of the frame snapped off that connected the front wheel/handle bars to the bike and the windshield and side view mirrors are non existent. The middle and rear end of the body is mainly intact, including the engine. The only major damage to the rest of the bike/engine (aside from the plastic flimsy molding) it is a dent in my headers and I believe the oil pan was ripped open. The engine had about 10 miles total on it. I can either try …

hi there, can anyone tell me if its normal for my 2000 wrf 400 to drip a small puddle of oil out of the breather pipe after i have taken it for a ride? if it is normal has anyone got any ideas how i could stop this from happening eg, re routing the pipe some where else so the oil does not come out? has anyone done this before? i have only owned the bike for a short while so this bike is quite new to me and do not know what to expect, the oil is at the proper level and i am reading the dipstick when its warmed up. it also seems to use a little oil as well but no smoke or any other leaks any where. hope someone can help me on this one im baffled by it!. neil.

Finally done it. Got a diesel car, drive a diesel truck, it was only time before I put petrol in the car or......... Yep, sussed it at 3.96L, same label, same Ultimate logo, just one is red the other black. Guess how they do it at BP! Anyway the 'eastern' staff were as helpful as the handbook permitted and I had a flat phone and 50 miles to do. Well once upon a time my old man did the same in his car, his solution was more fuel. So I brimmed it for want of a better timely solution. Well it worked, mainly because of the vacuum fuel tap meaning the bugger would start cleanly because the carbs were uncontaminated, then a VERY smoky trip home. It di…

A young priest gets up in the morning and goes to breakfast. On his way there two nuns look at him and he says, "Good morning sisters" and they reply in a sing song manner, "You got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." This stuns the priest who thought he had been very polite but he just goes on. He encounters a Brother a little while later along the way and he says, "Good morning Brother." The Brother replies in a sing song voice, "You got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." The priest looks confused at all this but goes on. He gets a little farther and he comes across a fellow priest and he says, "Good morning Father." The priest repli…

Looks like Norick Abe might now be coming to terms with racing Diesels ...... I love the pictures to be had @ this corner! Unfortunately, Haga didn't fair so well with a nagging front-end chatter problem
