I was in the pub the other night, telling the old joke about what to do if an epileptic has a fit in the bath..... throw your washing in! when a guy behind me tapped me on the shoulder, and said that he didn't find that funny, because his cousin was an epileptic and had indeed died in the bath. "Drowned?" I asked "No, choked on a sock!" --------------------------------------------------------- Two couples on holiday in Newquay. The husbands, Paul and Dave decide to try and get thier ladie's to too wife swap. Amazingly they agree but Paul knows his wife is on her time of the month so he has got one up on his mate Dave. They agree that at breakfast they'll tap on …

Well, it has come to the 11th November again and I'm sure all our hearts and minds are with all those in the armed forces, past and present. I thought I'd start the topic off by posting a picture of my buddy Paul, 3 Commando Brigade, Royal Marines, who is serving today. If anyone else has any friends, relatives, etc, that are serving right now, or have served, and wants to post something, then here's the place to do so. We Will Remember Them. Chris

  10. Got the petcock to stop leaking, funny how putting the wave washer on the outside works so-much better. No all I have to do is get the rear brake master cylinder fixed up and I ready for spring. tim

Spotted a bike for sale locally that looked good in the pics & description raised no problems. Seller stated it had been bought as a track bike but had never been used as such. Was really well priced so I enquired why it wasn't for road use, seller replied saying it was a US import & had never been registered etc. Surely couldn't be hard to get it registered & through an mot? Anyone got experience in this area?

T'WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE LIVED ALL ALONE, IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE, MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE. I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY, WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE, AND TO SEE JUST WHO, IN THIS HOME, DID LIVE. I LOOKED ALL ABOUT, A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE, NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS, NOT EVEN A TREE. NO STOCKING BY MANTLE, JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND, ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES, OF FAR DISTANT LANDS. WITH MEDALS AND BADGES, AWARDS OF ALL KINDS, A SOBER THOUGHT, CAME THROUGH MY MIND. FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT, IT WAS DARK AND DREARY, I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER, ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY. THE SOLDIE…

Hi all, Newbie here although owned my 93 YZF750R for about 11 years. I've just noticed that the paintwork has started to bubble on the side of the tank - 3 or 4 of the blighter's. I can only assume that this will get worse so the sooner I deal with it the better. The Tank is currently plain grey and black (looks to be very slightly metallic black). Any advice, thoughts recommendations, experiences on getting the tank re-sprayed - I want it as original as possible. The rest of the bike is in very good condition. Are there Yamaha approved paintshops with original paint codes etc? Any help appreciated Dunc
