Hi all, While doing research for my Yamaha I discovered this forum, and hope to receive guidance. I'm new to bikes, and even more green when it comes to engines, so I picked up a Clymers manual. This was a recent acquisition, and the previous owner was more interested in painting the tank than oil changes, new spark plugs, air filters, fork seals/covers, chain and a sprockets. At about 13,000 miles she needs some work, but runs strong. I try to do something every week to eventually get her back in good form. mt front tyre is 110/70zr/17 and the rear is 160/60zr/17 . problem is that i can find anew rear tyre but not the front. so does anyone have any good sites for tyres to be delivered cheers friedegg 600cc fazer 2000 plate

I have a 1994 Yamaha XJ600 SecaII. I'm wanting to convert it into a "Naked Bike" or what many call a "Street Fighter"(Not sure of the difference between the two). I do know there was a naked version of my bike that was specifically sold to Europe but not the States. I tried to hit up Ebay.UK trying to find headlamps and gauges. But no luck. So I guess I'm going to buy general gauges and a general headlamp and build some brackets for it. But before I dive headfirst into this I want to know if anyone has had some experience with this conversion or a similar conversion and if they have any advice. Hi guys, i have recently bought a yamaha xj600 diversion on a 92 plate it is a fantastic bike to ride but for some reason it is topping out at 70 mph it is very sluggish in 5th and 6th gear, i dont think its restricted has anyone got any ideas??? pete

Hello, I am inheriting a 1978 DT 175 Enduro that needs a new crankcase cover. I will be getting my riding certificate soon and will be using the bike to get back and forth from work. However I want to get the cover before I take my rider's test. I've searched online but can't really find anyone that sells these. Can anyone give me some hints, suggestions, etc? Thank you, -Hutch

Hey everyone, I am new to this forum, and I am new to owning a DT and so far I have had a nightmare with the bike. I brought the bike of someone for a good price, and the bike look well presented, and well looked after. The bike is a 1995 DT125 and has done about 11,000 miles. The problem I am currently suffering is that the bike accelerates OK, but when it hits the power valve the engine makes the sound of the sudden power increase but there is no noticeable power increase. I thought that it would be the clutch plates but there was no clutch slip 2 days ago before this problem? A few days ago the bike overheated and one of the radiator pipes had been loose so…
