Those of you who know me are aware that I've been looking for a second bike/ratbike since I sold the DT175 in June. And now something has finally turned up....the right bike at the right price too. It's bought and paid for, and I collect it later. So....can you guess WHAT bike it is? Some clues..... 1. I won't consider anything that's not Jap...cos I love the inscrutable Nips! 2. I won't consider any Jap bikes assembled by inscrutable Nips if the factory name ends in "i". Go on.....take a shot! Can YOU guess what bike no.48 is? But have no fear....the rampantly Gay Honda is staying!

Hi everybody, I'm a newby to the forum having just upgraded from my NC35 to a 2003 R6, which I'm absolutely loving, as the following story will prove.... So I've had the R6 for a grand total of 9 days now, and coming home from work last night I was getting bored of dumb ass drivers sitting in the outside lane of the 3 lane section of the A40 and leaving the two other lanes completely free, so I took the decision to undertake the lot of them in the inside lane at a speed approaching 3 figures in a 50mph area. Unfortunately one of these cars turned out to be an unmarked pig in a BMW 5 series. He eventually caught up with me in traffic and pulled me over for what I was t…

Good morning people, This is the tread for my little project, hopefully it's in the right place. This is my bike, a 2007 MT-03 I have dropped the front my an inch, raised the rear by about the same amount, added some rental bars. It did have two bar end mirrors but one has fallen off, evotech tail tidy and the fuel tank has been painted. It has a k&n panel filter, power commander 3, 748 ducati rear can which has changed it from a twin exit exhaust to a single. I have all the kit to make take this from a 636cc to 780cc and once I have the time to do it, luckily she's not my daily ride anymore so I can put her in one of my sheds and start…

IS it me or have the government just shot them self in the foot yet again??? i notice that they would like people to stop spenidng money on booze from a supermarket and want you to go to the local pub... Well why did in todays bill they just put more tax on booze??? Clearly not clever, and then the car market, we will give you £2000 towards a new car if you scrap your old one, yet we will also put up petrol tax too because we dont feel we are making enough money, yet most of the petrol price is tax anyways...... what do you all think???

The lawyer and the duck A big city lawyer went duck hunting in rural Wales. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing. The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it." The old farmer replied, "This is my property, and you are not coming over here." The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in the United Kingdom and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything The ol…

The Lost Bagpiper As a bagpiper, I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man who had no family or friends. The funeral was to be held at a cemetery in the remote countryside and this man would be the first to be laid to rest there. As I was not familiar with the backwoods area, I became lost and being a typical man, did not stop for directions. I finally arrived an hour late. I saw the backhoe and the crew who were eating lunch but the hearse was nowhere in sight. I apologized to the workers for my tardiness a…

Oh been out today, the missus had taken the kids to a party and would be gone for 3-4 hours, was it work. No, was it football, No. It was Bike keys. 150 miles and 2 tanks of gas later i'm buzzing, no dual carriage ways, no motorways just sweet A and B roads and a blast on the new Bedford ring which is just perfect, new tarmac and roundabouts with minimal traffic. Sweet, the bike is still cooling down outside pinging contentedly to its self. The title? They will never experience the sound of a 2stroke twin having the throttle nailed, the knife edge power that has the tail breaking out. Its almost erotic the howl, the airbox. No 4 stroke will ever come close. …

I just knew there had to be a site out there like this. Looking forward to meeting everyone and adding where I can. On my first bike - I have taken it pretty well apart and am putting it back together now so... basically I know a fraction of what I want to know, and am willing to help anyone who might not know one of the few things I do. Oh yes, and my name is Aaron.
