Im new in here so hello from sunny Denmark. I am English but have lived here for 4 years. I have recently bought a 2006 FZ6 which I think is great. My last bike was a Intruder VS800 which was great, I did 16000km on it this year. The FZ6 is a drastic change to the Intruder but after 1000km I know I will love it. I know everything about Intruders and nothing about FZ6s so I hope you can all help. Here is a short slideshow of our biking year. Click on the smiling box top right to reduce the toolbar and when the white image loading page opens the music starts about 20 seconds later the slides will start. Most of the photos are from Denmark and Sweden. …

One thing i really miss from the moped (the ONLY thing!) is the clock! The YBR125 is a very basic bike, so it doesn't have one, i've looked around and found a few stick on clocks for bikes, but they're either poorly rated or a bit expensive. Any ideas?

The struggle keeps on going, been in contact with the DMV in Wisconsin to see if they had any history on the chop but their records are only kept for about 5 years and my frame number (custom made up one) wasn't found on their database so where un able to help further. So i thought to try the DVLA and see what i could get to gain this age related plate to which they came back with: The following documents are acceptable to allocate an age related mark to an American imported vehicle that is presented for registration: • Certificate of Origin • Certificate of Title • Certificate of Sale • Certificate of Lien Sale Do any of you know of how i can get one of those? All i ha…

Some little shit has made off with my pride and joy. Was parked in my girlfriends front garden overnight, chain on back wheel and down a steep embankment of grass to her front door. Its a bit of an effort to get out so thought no one would have the time to. I was so wrong. If anybody sees or hears of anything, please let me know. Chris =]

Question - I'm looking at an mt03, stolen/recovered. Keys are present but steering lock is broken and ignition barrel is not with the bike. Would I need new keys, lock, barrel AND ecu or would a replacement ignition barrel and keys work with the current ecu? A new set of everything is over £900 which I want to avoid.

My 2005 Yamaha XT125X in red Reg, PO55 CUV was stolen from Hale Village (in between Widnes, Cheshire and Speke, Merseyside) It was parked on the drive of my girlfriends sisters house, right underneath the living room window where I was sat. I was only at the house for under 3 hours and didn't hear a noise or see anything, there isn't even any cctv from the pub across the road. Gutted.

Hi everyone Been a while since I was last on here and I wish this post could be of a more upbeat nature but unfortunately not I rode my bike up to my house in Newcastle on Sunday from Northants (which was a mighty fun trip of A and B roads, being still on L plates and all that so no motorways ) Anyway I was woken up on Monday morning by my housemate telling me some scrote had broken in and stolen it from our backyard in the Heaton district (it had been there less than 12 hours...) The Police came round but didnt seem to hopeful about recovering it. Just wanted to advertise it on here incase anyone in the Newcastle area sees it around (I've already posted it…

I start with a copy of my last post from the 'newbie' forum. This relates to the theft of a YZ80 and YZ125, form their garage a couple weeks ago. I've had a look round some web sites, spoken to a few mates. Like kenDAWG says, there are lots of stories out there like this one. Not just in this country, but all over the world. The official response seems to be the same, " Sorry to hear about your loss, but there's little we can do". But what about us? We hear another sad tale, then go off to the shed to make sure our pride and joy is still there. Smile at the sight of gleaming metal, then lock and bolt the door as we leave. I'm good, no problem here. Then someon…

Chris 'Hampo' Hampshire had his two bikes stolen from round the back of his appartment in Newcastle last night. It would be great if you could all keep your eyes out and also post this on any other forums you go on. I know the chances of getting them back are slim but there is always hope. The details I have are as follows; Yamaha RD350YPVS Reg number D50KJT, frame and engine number 1WT004499 Yamaha RD500LC Reg number A538MWD frame and engine number 57x The 500 was immaculate, the 350 had nearly 70,000 miles on the clock and was his much loved, well travelled old faithful.
