Where would be the best place to post a thread about making up special form screws made in stainless, (you know the sort of thing, changed all the corroded fasteners on the bike and there are a couple of annoying ones with big heads, shoulders or weird threads!) all i would need is a sample part to see if viable to make? Cheers machineshed!

Seems like the powers that be want to bring in speed limiters and other things to take some of the control of bikes out of the riders hands, not good i think, if you object please sign the mulhouse decleration http://campaign.publicaffairsbriefing.co.u...1f-8f18b73ecd92 A clip from the MAG website EVSC - ISA - No To Throttle Control - No To Control MAG re launches its 2001 campaign to oppose the compulsory fitment to privately owned vehicles of any device designed to arbitrarily remove control from the driver to remote operation and asks all vehicle users to sign the Mulhouse Declaration. MAG President Ian Mutch was emphatic about the issue. "Let's keep …

So what do you all think about this crap idea to restrict bikes. Who wants a bike that can only do 65 mph They are banging on bout the bloke in chelmsford nicked doing 110mph along a road that if you know as I do is fairly safe. leave the bikers alone and sort out the 17 year olds in hot hatches 4 up and only a couple of weeks driving behind them. Makes more sense to restrict cars (Then they wouldnt get in our way)Teach more awerness of bikes to car drivers thats half the battle

Just wondering if anybody knows actually how fast a Yamaha WR125x goes because some say 70mph some say 75mph? because i'm getting a 2010 model in a few days due to me selling the Yamaha Aerox which i've had for a year from new also and to be honest it is the worst scooter i've ever known. its been back to the shop more times than i can remember and glad i've had warranty, also 4 days before it runs out and the scooter is all ready to be part-ex'd (just waiting for my birthday so i can get the new bike) and it breaks won't start and this time it's the bottom end that's gone and only a few months ago it had a new cylinder head, also water pump, temp light, exhaust,…

Hi all, been riding round on my xv125 and a question is bugging me ( this is probably the start of a really dumb-ass question ). When I bought it the bike had a kph speedo with relevant stickers on at the kph equivalent of 30mph 50mph and 70.I bought a converter which works fine and is far easier to read but, does this alter the odometer , does it still measure kilometres - I know if I spent a bit of time I could probably work it out but if anyone knows the answer I'd be grateful. The reason I've taken to thinking about this is I've got my mod2 in two weeks and I cant afford to keep the xv and buy a bigger bike as well, so to save confusion when I put it up for sale I'd li…
