While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG ). He put on a clean shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA ), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE ) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA ) After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA ) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO ) to see how much he could spend today. I was going to use some Quicksilver Power Tune to clean out the carburetor; the first step is to remove the air filter. Which would be easy - if I knew where it was. I bought the bike used and have no manual. Where is the air filter, how do I remove it, and what tools do I need? Thanks!

Good afternoon friends, Quick question, I was thinking of getting one of the Airhawk seat things, the Cruiser R. Has anyone ever seen these or indeed had a ride whilst using one? They are a bit pricey, so would appreciate some thoughts before I shed the bucks... This is the one I was thinking about: http://www.bykebitz.co.uk/acatalog/Airhawk_Cruiser_R.html Cheers, Andrew.

I don't get this, I'm booking some trips in the early part of the new year. To get to NY flying Virgin I can go on a premium economy for £400 ish notes yet the economy is only £50 less. The business class ticket is about a grand more and almost identical to the premium economy. Now, if I fix the return flight date the business class ticket becomes as cheap as the premium economy but the return flight is on a Continental. BA want almost £2k for the business ticket and £350 for the cheapie cheap ticket. It seems that small variables in the travel plans make massive differences to the flight price. What happened to the good old days of First Class, Club and Econom…

Alan the moped 'ALAN' - one of only 30 million ever made - It is widely believed (by me) that this unassuming little moped was the original training bike of the 'Ghost Rider' (please see photo 1 for documented proof) Looking resplendant in non-original Llama urine yollow and household apple white gloss this little fella has covered a mear 3463 miles from new, which cannot be verified of course. I inherited this vehicle from my late father in law who, to the best of my knowledge, never actually had it on the road. It was stolen by some oiks then 'recovered' for ten english pounds. Substantial damage was caused to the lighting/ignition 'module' (handle bar switch) …

My friend has just fitted a new alarm to my bike today. It cost me £30 off eBay and I love it. It's really sensitive and loud as hell. I swear knowing that there's an alarm on my bike now I can relax, the paranoia, stress, and anxiety I have suffered fretting over it getting stolen has really given me a hard time. Now it has just gone like a weight been lifted from my shoulders.

  16. Hi, I have just bought a 1999 R1 which has an Alarm/imobiliser fitted but I don't know what it is! The problem is I only have 1 fob for it and obviously if I loose it or it stops working I'm knackered!! The fob is just a plain black square fob with a white(ish) button and red LED. There is no name or numbers on it inside or out! The black box is exactly that.... a plain metal black box again with no markings, name or numbers on it! It is tie wrapped to the side of the subframe under the seat unit. It looks like a decent job with proper plugs and sockets going into the loom. I say Alarm/Imob but to be honest I've never heard it make a noise or go off?? So it may just b…
