Hi, we have a Yamaha Aerox YQ50 2012 (UK). The handlebars hit the knees at full lock. We are wondering if the frame is bent or something like that or if the bike is made for small people. Can anybody who's got access to one please make some measurements from bits that aren't too flimsy etc? Maybe from the ends of the handlebars (both equal with steering 100% straight ahead!) back to a fixed point somewhere near the fuel filler. Then the overall width to the tips of the handlebars in case ours are different. Also the handlebar tips down to the footplate securing screws. If someones got the cladding off then measurements to inside of curved frame behind fuel filler. Mu…

I've never used mirrors on my bikes before because I think they look stupid on my style of bike. I got some of those that stick into the end of your bars but they're pretty crap. I want some that screw into the mirror sockets but not with massive long arms. I don't know the word slimline? Anyway I can't find any. Has anybody got a link?

after doing a topend rebuld on my little dt125r i fitted some carbon reeds and refitted the snorkel while i was at it took her out for a run and she wouldnt go past the 4,000rpm sounded like there wasnt enough air getting to her so i pulled the snorkel back off and she went fine until 6-7k rpm same sound (she has been well run in now) i have never seen the point in all these holes drilled in air boxes but i couldnt think of any thing else so i drilled out 4 holes the size of 1 pence coins now she runs up to the redline just sounds soooo bloody loud!! any ideas why with a change of topend she would need more air? and will this be ok? cheers ken

first is terrible second just bad A young man walks onto the stage of Stars in their Eyes, on crutches, with a plaster cast from his feet to his hips. Matthew Kelly Introduces him as Simon. 'It's very brave of you to come out here,' says Matthew. 'Please tell the audience what happened?' 'Well' replies Simon 'about a year ago, I was driving with my uncle when we had a really bad accident. Unfortunately my uncle was killed outright but I survived. I was trapped in the car for six hours before I was eventually cut free.' 'The doctors had me in surgery for 12 hours but they couldn't save my legs.' 'That's terrible. But I see you have legs now. Are they artific…

I i like the exhaust i have now with the R1, but im wondering what other options i have for my bike. My g/f who owns a Vstar1100 Custom S.E (04) said my bike sounds like a snowmobile (ouch hurt me, and my bikes feelings) her bike didnt sound so sweet either until she got her aftermarket pipes put on. What could i get to give my bike some growl instead of pur. Although i understand i have a sports bike shes supposed to be quite, and sporty sounding.

evening guys im after some info and pointers on fitting an aftermarket exhaust(currently looking at a termignoni)thais particular brand comes in 3 decibels the higher the decibel the cheaper the exhaust it seems..ranging from 80db to 102db. my finances dictates getting the cheaper louder one so what are the implications of a 102 db exhaust, will it be stupidly loud getting me unwanted blue light attention? is 102db road legal or will I need to fit the standard one when ever its due for mot? also taking out the db killer..good or bad idea? thanks guys )

Does anyone out there know if there is an after market skid plate that was fitted as standard to the TDM850 and would fit my TDM900? Don't like and can't afford the Yamaha bellypan. Cheers

I have a AG100 farm bike. The clutch will not disengage. For a while it tended to stick engaged but would disengage after a few tries. Now nothing works. I have tried adjusting it. What is involved in removing the clutch to check out what has happened? I have not been able to find repair information for this bike.

Hello legends, I picked up an old AG175 in 3 boxes :) and over the last year I’ve been working towards getting it back on the road, however I’m stumped on where these 3 bits go. Below is a link to my iCloud thing where I’ve shared the image. can you let me know if any look familiar:) Link to image Thanks! Rich

Over the Christmas period me and a mate went out for a bit of a morning ride, we didn’t really have a plan of action so we just put our kit on and went in whatever direction the front wheel was facing, to cut a long story short we ended up having a brew outside a local cafe “bacon butty did accompany the brew, just be plain rude not too” and got caught up in the age old question. “If you could have three bikes what would they be” My mate being a practical sort of chap said his three would be an XJ6 {for town; light and nimble} a XJR1300 {for posing; big and bold} and finally a FJR1300 {for touring; big, fast, comfy}, I’m not too sure about mine yet…

Ahh yes, just got back from a week in Venice. T'was a press trip, full board accomodation for free and in the best hotel on the island - Luna Baglioni. Apparently, Dinero was there the week before - shame as I'm a fan. Got some nice piccies of what I can only describe as one of the nicest and culturally effervescent places I've ever been to. Managed to get some great images of Mont Blanc on the flight over and aa few fantastic images of the sun setting over the wing on the flight back - had to use a polariser to get rid of a lot of the crudd on the window though. Funny thing was that on holiday you usually work out who the locals hate most out of all the tou…
