Hello there! I recently purchased a Yamaha dt 125 RE 2004, it's been nothing but trouble and all I've done is thrown money at it, it's an amazing bike though regardless I've sorted most of its problems now I'm stumped and was needing some help, the bike never starts very easily and never settled when its idling (revs keep going higher and lower) and just yesterday it feels as if the power band isn't kicking in anymore.. Anybody got any ideas as where to start? Thanks!

Is this the last new /unreg Fazer 600 S2. The bike is a 2010 model new and unused. I live in Spain and currently ride a Kawasaki Z1000SX. At 64 the bike is getting to heavy for me now, love it to bits but it has to go. Anyway I was in a dealers the other day looking for a suitable replacement. Nothing took my fancy as I really love the Kwacker. I mentioned to the saleslady (yes)lady I once had a 2005 fazer 600 and loved it. she suggested the FZ8 but I have a limited budget so she did a search on the Yamaha Spain website looking at the Diversion class bikes. I was looking over her shoulder and spotted a naked FZ6 with ABS dated 2010. I pointed to it and asked her about it,…

Having shelled out some really hard earned cash, a lot of it, on leathers I was wondering what the best way to clean them was? Are they dry clean only or can you do them at home? I mean the outside can be wiped down easy enough but after a couple of weeks daily use, they cant be that err ... hygenic How often do you get them cleaned? Also can anyone recommend any leather alteration people in surrey (Woking way) as I made them fatal error of buyinbg new while losing a little weight?

  16. i just bought my first bike. it a 1979 yamaha xs1100 special. i figured out how to ride it, and mechanicly seems sound. im a do it yourself'er and consider myself inclined with a wrench.....electricity on the other hand, i have a hard time grasping. and with electricity lies my issue. the bikes tail/break light works but rear signals, front signals,low/high head light, speedometer, and rpm gauge to not fuction. fuses are all fine. cables all connected. no open links to my eye. ive been chasing wires for about a week now pokeing with that "light up" tool to see if theres current. and yes ive been using a wiring diagram, but like i said i suck with electricity. This is the second time my dragstar has done this, cranks over fine but no spark, I checked everything, and I mean, "EVERYTHING"...... except the ignition switch, I assumed because it was cranking over then the switch had to be OK. I was talking to a guy who has the same bike the other night at a bike meet, he said that he had the same trouble, but if he turned the key back ever so slightly while cranking it over it would start. So next day I took the switch apart and sure enough the wiper had been dragging plastic on to the copper contact and plastic is not a good conductor, so, cleaned the tracks up with 2000 wet and dry and no more bad starting, and I guess thi…
