Hi, I got a radiator cover for my XJ6 for xmas. In order to change it I have to disconnect and drain radiator. Just want to know before I do this if bikes need any specific anti-freeze/coolant, or whether I can just use the pre-mixed stuff from halfords etc. Thanks in advance. Dan

After lookin forward to the NEC show for months, I'm raging. Arrived at airport yesterday -all was fine. Had the compulsory fry up & pint, then found slight delay on flight. Boarded plane, waited several hours only to discover that airport was now closed so told to head home. So disappointed I missed out - but there's always next year I suppose....

I own a 2008 Yamaha Raider.I recently replaced my speedo face with a custom one. It looks great, but I screwed up somewhere along the way and my fuel guage doesn't work right. Does anyone know how I could fix this. I filled the tank up, set the needle on full, then turned the key on,,,,,showed a quarter tank. So I set the needle to E,,,, turned the key on,,,, quarter tank. Any help would be awesome.

Well I have only don 900 miles since passing my test and the last few days have been real nice with the weather being sunny. Hello, One of my mates at work, who rides his Yamaha FZ6 to work everyday, was telling me that he was rammed by a car last week!!! And he says that there's actually people who literally try to ram you off the road on purpose!! :? What the Hell!! Has anyone experienced anything simular to this? Hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting here i've just got a mysterious issue with my bike that I need to fix urgently and thought it would be worth posting here to ask for advice. In short my YBR 125 Custom (2016?) is having an issue where randomly (always over 7,000 rpm in 5th after 2 minutes or so) a massive amount of engine braking will kick in and the engine light will continuously flash (No code just constant quick flashes till the breaking stops). This will deceleration will happen for a seemingly random amount of time. This issue has resurfaced multiple times over the past year of me owning the motorcycle and it has me and my mechanic step-farther…

I saw somewhere ages ago (probably on here) that rigging a rape alarm to your bike makes a good little security device. I managed to get one from somewhere but lost it. I found it yesterday at the back of some drawers so I'm going to rig it up to my bike. It will wake me up if it goes off. They're a great cost effective form of security. You can even probably get one for free.

Hey all, my R6 has developed a rattle on tick over, it sounds like a you are shaking a bolt in an empty tin can (probably not as quite as bad as that to be fair)! As soon as the revs pick up it goes it's just on idle? It's difficult to say exactly where it's coming from but is certainly not affecting the riding or performance. Any ideas?
