Anyone else have problems contacting ebike insurance. Seems that the complaints sites are full of problems! Took them 2 days to answer a query. Not exactly service.

Hi guys, Im after some advice please. Had a service done last week on my fazer 600s, nearly two years old and already up to 9500 miles on it....wooo hooo. Anyway, was told that i would need a new rear tyre soon, about a thousand miles left on it, even though there`s loads of `meat` on it, the middle is starting to wear thin apparentley, so, my question, whats the average millage on tyres anyway? Also, do i have to have the front one changed at the same time, even if there is nothing wrong with it? And finally, sprockets? whats the recomended milage before change, i know theres things to consider like condition and `mad riding` but just a rough idea as to how long…

I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me and we all could use more relaxation in our lives. By following the simple advice I heard on a Medical TV show, I have finally found a relaxation exercise that is simple and works. A Doctor proclaimed the way to achieve good relaxation is to finish all the things you have started. So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished and, before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of vocka, a pockage of Prunglies , tha mainder of bot Prozic and Valum priscriptins, the res of the Chesesck…

Greetings to all, I have recently purchased a 1982 xj550, which has only 4500 miles. It looks great and the previous owner says it ran very well. The problem seems to begin with the fuel petcock, the shaped hose( I assume is a vacum line) is missing so the petcok only flows in the prime position. The bike is difficult to start and then will only run at higher idle. It definitely seems to be a fuel issue. Has any one heard of a similar problem? What do you all think? Many heads are better than one. Also where can I find the missing hose and where does it attach. I am in general familiar with motorcycles but this is my first dealing with this specific type. Thanks for the h…

I thought i would pass em on as they maybe useful too you 2 as well 1. Wear your glasses to make sure your partner is actually in the bed. 2. Set timer for 3 minutes, in case you doze off in the middle. 3. Set the mood with lighting. (Turn them ALL OFF!) 4. Make sure you put 911 on your speed dial before you begin. 5. Write partner's name on your hand in case you can't remember... 6. Use extra polygrip so your teeth don't end up under the bed. 7. Have Tylenol ready in case you actually complete the act.. 8. Make all the noise you want....the neighbors are deaf, too. 9. If it works, call everyone you know with the good news!…

Hi to one and all. I now have a Yamaha MT 03 had it about a year, really good fun on the mountain roads. Before that I had a Honda Hornet and before that Suzuki Freewind (hubby crashed that one). I just wanted to join a social bike forum, not sure if this is what this is, but I'm sure someone will let me know. Hubby has a Triumph Tiger. We are living in Bulgaria, came over here 4 and half years ago and just love it. Anyone out there been over here.

Hi first time on thought i would say hello. Hello! Not sure where to post this one(pretty useless on forums) but i have a 94 rd330r ypvs. Nice little bike which ran spot on until it developed a fuel leak near the tap. I had it "professionally" repaired, and it leaked again. I tried a resin kit in the tank. That didnt work either. I decided to check out the professional repair (body filler on the bottom) I ground out the filler to reveal small rust holes. I tried Super Steel from halfords under advice £6. Worked perfect. It then flew through the test but now the tickover sticks at 5-6000 rpm. When cold no probs. When its warm and you first start it no probs. But after a co…

Hi all I finally got round to finishing of my FZR600 genesis, I bought it last year for £660.00 of evil bay, full service history with 31k on , required new fork seals and new bearings for sprocket carrier and rear wheel as they were shot, did a oil change, filters, coolant ,oh and a new rear tyre the rest of the bike was ok ,apart from it had been coated in wd40 which is fine for protection but when it been left on for a year or 2 everywhere was sticky and a sod to clean off, so after a couple of washes with stardrops great for cleaning has it contain no salt unlike your fairy liquid then a good polish ,all in all i have spent around another £150.00 so for under £800.00…

Right the XS400 is 99.9999% done now and it`s time to get it MOT`d taxed and insured (he says hopefully) when i first got this, it was a pile of dismantled junk, pretending to be a couple of 250`s and a 400 engine. now it almost looks and goes like a bike . i put the 400 lump in the 250 and we went about getting it to go, and after a friends magic touch and a lot of his knowledge we have a bike thats ready to go back on the road. so i know i have to inform DVLA..... is that via the log book when i take it off sorn? will i have to have it inspected because the engine capacity has changed. can i ride it to the MOT station by prior appointment, even though i hav…

Hi! I recently purchased an XS 650 from a guy that was trying his hand at disassembling and reassembling his toys. He got the dissassemble part right, but fell short of the reassemble. I'm putting the thing back together, and have recently sent the tank out for paint and some minor ding repair. (I got a sweet deal) I'm new to the forum.... and to reassembly. Anything I should know before I go too far? He reassured me all the parts are here, but he isn't sure if the tank was factory. Thanks! cosmo-
