Does anybody know what the Prime Ministers name was in 1967?

hi folks, a quick question. i have two bikes with northern ireland plates on them. is there any way i can register the bikes on the mainland and keep the plates on them? i phoned the DVLA a while back and the guy was very helpful basically he didnt have a clue. the thing is they are private plates in the north, *** 750 and *** 7337 it would be a shame to give them up. any ideas? thanks

I dont find myself pretentious enough or even have enough spare cash to have a 'cherished' number plate, each to their own though, however I think that some thought should be put into buying one, I've seen plates like B19 ED1E (big Eddie I presume) then watched as some wee 5'8" nyaff steps out of the car, here are another couple of examples from my locale that make me LOL, and no these are not made up ! T4 JUR, from a short distance this looks like TAJUR (the Scots equivelant of TODGER !) D14 REA, (Diahorrea?)

Is it possible to clean up my exhaust I know I can get the dents blown out I don't really want to paint it as I like the plain metal look there's surface rust and general marks on it was just wondering can I get it looking newish

Hi everyone. When I first start the bike in neutral and put it into gear the bike stalls( clutch is in and so is the kick stand). I first thought it was the kick stand switch not working properly--I had that cleaned off and looked at seemed fine. Still I experience this problem and I am not sure what it is. I'm not sure if it's a clutch issue or something else. When its warmed up after riding I can put it into gear just fine. Another issue I've noticed is when I'm downshifting the bike will have a hard time going into first, it sometimes will get stuck in neutral and I'll have a hard time getting it back into first. Hi, I just tried to login to this forum using Firefox Web-browser and after using the login page it said the usual "please wait etc...." but then when the page came up it still said Login/Register in the red bar???? I'm sure i've used Firefox to login to this forum before......WTF??? It works fine with Internet-Explorer though. Anyone else noticed this?

Hi I recently emptied my engine oil for a refill and also put in a new set of clutch plates. Now i have everything back together. No engine oil is in it. would this be the reason for my clutch lever to have no force/resistance in it? If i refill the oil would the clutch lever comes back to life? Cheers in advance for the help!

Hey guys, I've been having some problems from the letting agency, in which I rent my flat from. Basically, they sent me a letter through yesterday saying that they're going to send someone round to my flat tomorrow at 11.40am for a routine inspection. Ok so I'm new to all of this and I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what I should do next. I currently own a SR 125 and the rear running light won't work at all. I've checked and I know that it's not the ground that's broken, it's the positive. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to trace where the fault is in the positive? Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I have a 2002 xvs 125 dragstar which i am having trouble 'finding' neutral. I can select every other gear easily, but when i come to a standstill i cannot find neutral easily. Also even when the clutch lever is pulled right in the bike tends to 'jump' forward when putting it into gear. I have checked all the adjustments on the clutch but everything seem ok. any ideas as the toe of my boot is wearing out due to the constant gear lever movement up and down trying to get it out of gear

Hey guys ive got a 2000 Virgao XV125, all good with it until the other day. Had a ride from Benfleet to Stambridge via Southend (about 25 miles), all was well until I stopped the bike briefly (literally 2 minutes) and when I tried starting it again there was just a electrical cyclical sound coming from what I think it the starter motor! Had to bump start it to get it home. topped up battery with distilled water, cleaned connections to battery and went to charge it but charger read that battery was full but surely it couldnt be? iv got a new dep exhaust on my bike, and now when the revs get to 6000-7000 rpm the bike loses power! not sure on wat it is the spark plug is brand new, and not sure on how to up jet the bike? any ides?
