Picked up my new Fazer 600 S2 today. I had them fit a touring screen and Scottoiler dual injection before I picked it up. It runs very smoothly and the seating position is higher and more upright than the SV650S I had, which is just what I wanted. Lovely machine. Got home, waxed it, sprayed GT85 on all the metal bits, lowered the levers and took some free play out of the clutch and throttle. Still got to be run in but at least the weather isn't too bad. The shiny pictures: I took it for a little run using my normal commute roads. Seems to go OK. I've just got to scrub the tyres in a bit and then give it some welly. Well pleased! Back to 4 bikes now and 3 are Yami's.

Well, I picked up my Fazer today from Bike543 in Oldham. Just ridden back to Leeds in the peeing rain, come off M621 brake and there's vibrations throughout the handlebars. By the time I get to my house it seems more noticeable (though not really used brakes on motorways unlike riding through city traffic). Pop it on centre stand at home, pull front wheel forwards & backwards and there's loads of movement. Very surprised as they had it MOT'd last week for me to pick up. Does make me wonder if there's anything else up with it...? Anyway, I've given them a call & they said they'll get back to me. Hopefully won't take too long as was looking forward to getting out …

It's ex-Ayuntamiento (Local Govt).......they bought it new in 2000, used it infrequently, and when it was due for it's first ITV (MOT) in 2005 they just left it in their garage! There should have been 5 stamps (every 2 years) in the docs......and there was only one, which was 2 days ago. Only in Spain! Consequently it's only done 8000 kms / 5000 miles and is 100% original. Very rare to find one like this.....I've been looking for a long time! And the red/black DJ02 model is very rare in itself.

All I got to say is that the machine is awesome!! I just love riding it! At first, I didn't know what to expect and I had to get use to the riding position and the controls, but after about 5 minutes of riding, I started to relax and totoally enjoying my bike. I'm still smiling from riding the beast to work! One thing I've also noticed is that the turning angle of my R6 is piss poor compared to the 500cc bikes I was riding during my DAS. I tried to do a U-turn in a tightish road......f**k me, I nearly dropped the thing! I was also turning into this tight angled road at low speed and my fist was bloody touching the tank! Anyway, I'm sure I'll get use to it af…

I pickeed up my new bike today a 1999 fazer 600, and its fantastic great to reid i thought id be nervers but it so easy to ried its so much better than the Virago..

Off to sunny Hull tomorrow to hopefully pick up a TDM850. Its a '96 mk2 model with the 270' crossplane crank and has aftermarket 2 in 1 pipe and blue spot brakes. its done 40k miles and has had a local respray in white and green. I've booked the national express as its only £15 (£48 on train) and get there 13:20. hope it checks out then I can ride to squires and have a look round the show. so I either could be stuck in Hull with no bike or zooming along the queens highway with a new bike. watch this space

Hi guys, like I said. I picked up my New YBR125 today from the dealer. Here's the bike at the petrol station getting her first fuel injection...
