Hi, all I have bought a 535 with a blown ECU. The story goes that a used one was bought and fitted which gave it a spark. The fuel pump wasn´t working so it was disconnected from the loom and a live feed was put to it which made it work. The bike then started and ran ok. The pump was then plugged back in to the loom but didn´t work. A live feed was put to the pump which then ran and the bike started. Shortly afterwards the ECU burnt out. I personally I would´t have put a live feed into the loom! Has anyone any ideas? Also, I need an ECU. lol

Hi Guys Been riding a dt 125r (2006 reg) in london on a CBT for 3 months....going to take my full license (restricted for 2 years) in the next 2 weeks. I'm doing a 3 day course with Metropolis in london, 3rd day includes the test. I would like to find out if anyone has done their bike test on a dt 125? To get the license the bike must hit at least 62mph....I think mine tops out at 65mph but it does take a good push and strech to get there...Do you think I'll be ok with this? The other thing is that although i'm quite comfortable i'm still quite cautious when riding specially when doing u turns and slow riding...like to keep my foot close to the floor just i…

Geday all, Wondering if anybody has heard of any information as to when and if the baby R1 will be available in Australia. Apparently it was displayed at the Sydney bike show. Was this to gauge public interest or a sign of its intended release to the Aussie market? HAVE A BLAST! Paul.

I know, I know - bit of a surprise that I can actually read!! But this book is well worth a look. Its a collection of pictures of Road Racing, and it highlights just how amazing these guys are and the stories back up the opinions about how friendly the atmosphere and riders are. Especially good is the story & pics about Martin Finnegan (RIP) Highly recommended. P.S. - I'd still love to see Stoner try the Roads - he'd fill his leathers!!

A man is sitting at home watching TV one night, when there is a knock at the door. The man annoyed at missing his programme answers the door to find a 6ft Stag Beetle standing on the step. After he asks the beetle what the hell it is doing calling at such a late hour, the creature lays into him with a series of vicious kicks and punches, It then walks away whilst the man crawls back into his house to call for an ambulance. At the Hospital the man is reluctant to tell the Doctor how he came about his injuries, but eventually realtes the incredible tale of the Stag Beetle, expecting to be laughed at. To his surprise the Doctor is sympathetic, explaining to the man …

I have a couple of specific questions but in addition to that any information would be welcomed: How long do the engines last for if properley serviced How often do you have to service them Is there a particular model and year to avoid or aim for Are there any particular things to look at when viewing to buy Does the overall design change after a certain year What are the pros and cons of the wr450 Would really appreciate any advice, I am planning on riding on road and green laning. Many Thanks Burge.

Wicked big pat on the back for the Brit team with a Brit car with a Brit driver and Brit sponser. Bout kin time big pat on the back for Jensen wicked drive, the new rules have made things much better than it was recently. You really couldnt gaurantee where anybody would be. There were drivers making errors cos the cars are harder to drive but more overtaking with the 'Boost' button. I'm actually looking foreward to the next one. Edit. Er sorry seem to have gone a bit 'wicked crazy' on this post. Guess i'm a bit of a patriot at heart.
