i am having trouble wiv my dt i am losing power wen it hits 7000 rpm it splutters and chokes and loses power nebody got ne ideas can u help thanks alot

Hello my bike is only fireing on one cylinder right hand side put new plugs in and checked both plugs for spark and is all good any ideas? Looked in the manual but not sure what to check hope its not too bad! Thanks for any help in advance

Hey, so I'm consulting with the Yamaha experts here, right? I've got NO experience in evaluating what a street bike is worth, or even knowing what it is that I've got. We do own 3 pretty cool matching Yamaha dirt bikes, so I feel I've got a right to be in this forum- I've just never had a need to post anything. So here's my dilema- I won this auction for an abandoned storage unit and in it (among many many other things) were two Yamaha motorcycles. hello, it's been awhile, almost got my fj 600 road ready, been trying to find some lower fairings, not real important, but would like them any ways. am watching some on ebay, but there for an 89 fzr 1000, they kinda look like whats in the picture, just wonding if anyone can tell what will fit, and not, oh my is a 1985, had a couple of offers ta buy it, but don't want ta sell, just want ta ride it. does any body know where i might get fairing for my bike?

I recently found a 1977 YZ125 project bike for a kidney patient in dire need of a project to occupy his spare time and help take his mind off of things. He is very excited about his new project, and had it stripped down to the frame the 1st day he got it! Now I am trying to locate the parts he needs to rebuild it. Hello all, now, I've got a Yamaha wr125x 2015 and I need some advice!! Most days I take the dual carriageway home as my bike is my main form of transport! It's currently all stock apart from a leovince exhaust. I've researched for hours trying to find someone who has messed about with the gearing, I want a wee bit more topend. I know it's a 125 4 stroke and I'm lucky to get 65/70mph out of it but I'd rather sit at them speeds a little more Comfortably in 6th gear. Does anyone know what gear ratios suit this bike better for a little bit more speed? Thanks in advance ! Oh, and merry Christmas guys!!

Hey everyone, I'm after abit of advice please, had my xj6n for about 3 months now and I have her all tucked up for winter and the battery is sat somewhere warm so I will not be starting the bike until about February, is there anything I should be checking come feb to make sure it's okay? Well I think I broken it Hopefully something and nothing but as I was coming home at 23:00 down the M56 last night the boy didn’t sound to be fully on song and I noticed that the lights slightly flickering on the dash then I saw 2 or 3 white flashes near my right knee and that was it he decided to have a sleep I was in lane 3 and was passing a couple of cars so I backed off a tad to fall behind the cars then i coasted across to a slip road with no hard shoulder and parked it in the widest part which was about twice the width of the bike and sat on the barriers and called recovery , got it home but I haven’t got a clue where to start. …

Purchased a 2004 V-Star 650 Custom and there is no way my wife will last long on the stock passenger seat. The Stock rider seat is fine for me. Any recommendations on a decent passenger seat that will fit this bike without purchasing a complete rider/passenger set? Thanks.

Hi all, firstly my name is Mark and this is my first post as i am new on here.... I am in the process of giving my 93 YZF a bit of TLC and i have ripped all the old decals off the fairing as they wer getting shabby, so will be spraying it a diff colour, was wondering if a light sand down would spoil the end results, not doind anything fancy just a str8 spray off (Black), hope you could give me a few tips as well if any members read this in Brighton area as i wish to change the colour of my wheels, wot is the best way to do this when DIYing it or some where to take them????..........Thanks to all that reply
