Hi! I just signed the petition "Peak District National Park Authority: We call on the Peak District National Park Authority to stop imposing Traffic Regulation Orders on our Green Lanes" on Change.org. It's important. Will you sign it too? Had a near miss last night from work Was riding thru' freckleton going home. There is this slight bend to the right, (no more than 20° I'd say). On the inside of the bend, there is a newsagents where there was a car parked. An oncoming car is ovrtaking the parked car, at which point the driver of the parked car gormlessly opens the door, the overtaking car consequently swerves into my lane (Narrow lanes) I have to nearly swerve onto the footpath, If I didnt swerve as much as I did, - well, it would have been nasty... bloody gormless driver!...

Hey Everyone, I'm new to the club and was wondering if someone could help me out. Last week i was coming home from work and I ran over a nail. I didn't notice anything because my tire still had full pressure in it. It was when I was getting gas that i saw the nail's head. I put a plug in it and so far it seems to be fine (about 200 miles). Should i order a new tire asap or would it be ok for the rest of the season? Thanks for reading.

I have some good news folks, and a massive relief - I FOUND ANOTHER JOB!! So tonight is a celebration, and I'm hoping for the rest of this week I can get away somewhere on my bike as a celebration - still need to iron out the kinks there... But aside from that, I'm so relieved that I found another job so soon after my redundancy. When I was offer the safety of another job (albeit in Cirencester), and I chose the risk of becoming jobless, it's sure paid off! On the plus side it's a promotion, larger company and more money. The downside is that we'll be leaving Glossop and moving back down South, as I'll once again be working in the big smoke... Never mind. Assuming…

  13. In this season that saw Nakasuga shooting for the coveted third consecutive championship in the pinnacle class, he emerged the winner in a fierce battle with rivals Kosuke Akiyoshi (Honda) and Takumi Takahashi (Honda) to take the opening round, the Suzuka 2 and 4 Race, and get the season off to a great start. Katsuyuki Nakasuga In the next round at Autopolis, he took a fall and suffered injuries before the qualifying, leaving him to start the race from 6th position. Although the victory in the next day’s race went to rival Takahashi, Nakasuga was able to beat out Kazuki Watanabe (Kawasaki) by a slight margin to claim 2nd place. Then, in round three at Twin Ring Motegi, …

anyone watch that programme "naked speed"? its a follow on from cafe racer and they highlighted 2 builders. Made In Metal in Stafford and some American builder (which did really well) the MIM one was a total knob, he had a spotless BSA DBD34 Goldie and cut it up to make the worst looking bobber in the world. the owner lives in Lymm so I'm going to hunt him down and shit in his garden. I can't even find a picture, it's that bad

Hi, Wasn't really sure where to post this but here goes. I just got my DT 125 MX through its MOT and was wondering if anyone had any name suggestions, it's silver. Only characteristic I've noticed so far is that it wrecks my nuts every time I sit on it. Thanks

The other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a 'Honk if you love Jesus' bumper sticker.. I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting.. So, I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper. Boy, am I glad I did; what an uplifting experience that followed. I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord and how good he is, and I didn't notice that the light had changed. It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed. I found that lots of people love Jes…

Ahem minor confession for the benefit of others. Took the long way home today. As i finish at 1, sun's out so go find some warm tarmac, well suffice to say i was enjoying myself. I was going fast enough to make the race can seem quiet Went tonking round a loverly 3 figure bend then when the bypass runs out its back to bumpy country stuff but y'know the bloods up. Flick left, then right bike kicking over the bumps. Heading for the roundabout i learn't to knee down on so a personal favorite, grabbed a handfull....... of fcuk all. Pumped em up with a squeeze and got through a bloody site faster than i planned to. Thankfully the roundabout is biiiig an…

Just leaving the town i live in doing 60mph on a slight bend, i saw a Grey people carrier waiting at an exit to a horse riding place. Assuming he had seen me (Which should of been easy as the line of sight was clear) i didn't ease off... Then bang he goes and pulls out. Slammed the anchors on thankfully (luckily) i managed to manouver and pass him on the inside stopping a few metres infront of him. He just drives passed me as if nothing had happened... I followed him to some traffic lights, pulled up beside him and asked him politely "What the fuck are you playing at you twat" He replied "You weren't at the bend when i pulled out" and "You were going far to fast" Hmmm..…
