i was set on an alam for my bike. so i bout one off ebay for 25 quid or so. it came and fuck was it a load of wires. so yesterday i pput my bike in the garage and stripped it down to very little. (was quote pleased) with my quick progress. i then put all the alarm together and was amazed that i tapped into the wires correctly and it worked first time!!!! i also was amazed to find that it has a remote starting capability!!!!!!!!!! at 16 things that allow you to show off more than the fact you own a bike is great soi there i am now with a great bike which i love, and now i have my alarm for peace of mind. also a remote start! excellent. well just thought i would share my en…

I had a great summer with the thunderace but the old neck and back didn't agree with the riding position so she had to go. Now i've got a 2000 fzs600 fazer, comfy and nimble, with the added bonus of ....heated grips! roll on winter, i'm ready for you now lol. She also has a hugger fitted and a scottoiler, gonna get some braided brake lines and maybe a stainless header for the exhaust, (painted steel wont last the salty winter too well, methinks) Are there any known problems i should look out for? Let me know plz, ta

Hi Everyone Went out on my new bike for the first time on Sunday morning, i went for a leisurely 1 hr ride down some nice wide country roads and through a few little villages. Brilliant start to the day. As for the bike it's amazing, i have to say though that i don't think i took it above 8000rpm, it's my first bike so i'm not going to go silly, i've got a hell of a lot of riding to do before i'm evening compatent but i'll just take it easy to start, anyway here's a few pictures.

Hello everyone, I've just purchased a mint 04 plate r6, it has 3300 miles, braided brake hoses, polished sprocket, full set of bungs, and is absolutly spotless. This is my first bike, I used to own a twin turbo supra and was a member of www.MKIVsupra.net, I had to sell the car recently though due to the wife being preggers, and the car was costing far too much. I'm also moving out to a bigger house and the supra just sapped to much money from me every month. I decided that I still wanted something that would make me smile everytime I went to work, so I've booked a direct access course next week and bought this little beauty. She's sitting in my garage now wait…

G'day all! Been a member for a while and never really post so take this opportunity to show off my toys Finally got my new toy for general use and fun! I say new... but new to me, 02 Mini Cooper which is a lovely step up from my Ford KA! I just love the central locking, haha as that was my main must have with a new car. Fairly low mileage for an 8 year old car at just 39,OOO Had to be good old British Racing Green with go-faster stripes! On a more depressing note... the summer toy is now for sale to pay off the rents for my new mota! Timing couldnt be better with the gorgeous weather we ware having!!! Just got 12 months tax, going for MOT next wee…

....is nor more! i went out all afternoon sunday: Abergavenny, Talgarth, Builth Wells, Llandindrod, Newtown. Coming back i was riding through Hereford. Pulled away from a set of lights, a car decided to do a right turn straight in front of me. i wind up in Hereford County Hospital all evening, badly bruised - specially the family jewels went over the back of the car-with a somersualt. the bike has been recovered to 'who knows' and the last i saw of it, it looked very poorly. i think it is a write off, only 700 miles too! oh well, onwards and upwards! wont be sleeping much tonight tho!

I ride year round, and with all the weather we've been having lately they've been drowning the roads in salt, and with the lockdown, finding a jetwash open is near impossible! So, obviously the bike is taking a bit of a hammering. It doesn't help that it has a full fairing... After several slightly crap hand washes (I'm getting on and don't have a garage, so getting on my hands and knees in the freezing wet isn't easy or good lol), I've managed to find a jetwash and gave it a good 'low' pressure wash yesterday. I spent an hour messing around with it today, cleaned the chain, hand washed it, re-greased the chain and kickstand workings. Two question…

Necessity meant that I travelled 700 miles on the XJ this weekend [a wedding on Sunday up in Aviemore]. My butt was killing me by the end. Didn't help that I didn't really have the option of time for a scenic route. Although, the A9 did have some gorgeous sights once you got north of Perth. That seat isn't designed for long distances. I may have to get a bagster replacement [or similar]. I'll never manage an Iron Butt on the stock seat. But far too often I'd glance down and go "well, that isn't 70mph. Ahem"
