I know this technically should be in the "for sale" section but I'm not selling but giving it away. Hi everybody, I'm having a mega clearout and have came across some bike clothing I'm going to get rid of to a charity shop but I'd rather they go to a current biker first. What I have is a full set of leathers and a textile jacket with padded leggings which are not waterproof but are very warm. I am 5' 8" - 42" chest and 36" waist. Hopefully photos to follow. The only stipulation is that you must collect from Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Hello guys, just picked up a wicked little thing! its an Oxford disc brake lock/alarm, payed roughly £35. Very loud at 100db, very good quality for money too! It's very sensitive as well, I put my key in the ignition and it goes off, Thought I'd post it up for anyone who's looking for a cheap little deterrent!! http://www.halfords.com/motoring/motorcycling/motorcycle-security/oxford-screamer-alarm-disc-lock.

Morning I'm having difficulty locating the adjuster parts at the handlebar lever end of the clutch cable. The penny sized disc seems threaded and the part the cable end screws onto may be a bit bent too. I've got a new cable but I can't find these two little parts. Any ideas or am I being stupid?

hi, 2 years ago, I bought a 1975 Dt125, which I found buried at a mates furniture workshop. it hadn't been on the road for 20 years, but was quite tidy considering. I got it going and rode it for the summer, and it went ok, but vibrated a lot over 50mph. last year I was too busy to do anything with it, but I am looking to get it tidied up for this summer. I have a few questions that I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with. Firstly, to enable me to buy the correct bits, I wonder if anyone could clarify what model this is? the engine number is prefixed with 1F9-, does this make it an "F" model? that would make sense, but from what ive read, its a bit early for that? …

  18. Hi Folks, new to the Club and new to Viragos. I have moved from a (don't sneer) Chinese 125 Cruiser - not unlike a Dragstar 125 - the Lexmoto Lowride. It had a lovely, albeit plastic, big front fender like the Dragstar. The Virago 535 has a weeny front fender and I'm anticipating a lot of splash back in the rain! Does anyone know if it's possible to fit a Dragstar Fender to a Virago 535 - the 535 does have a slimmer front wheel than the 650 and up but the 125 looks like the same size-ish front wheel. Any thoughts Thanks all Click to choose files Mark

Prob get it next weekend maybe. Still can't believe it. I did say I wanted first refusal if he ever sold years ago. He has owned it, what 25years I recon.

Hello all, New to this (or any) bike forum, but have just bought a brand new XV950 and have covered about 30 miles - unfortunately, I'm getting the same old pain in the ass (literally) I've experienced with other bobber style bikes I've owned. Before I start ordering solo sprung replacement saddles etc, can anybody advise if they have gone down the same route of sourcing a comfier (softer) replacements ? I suffer from a condition called pilonidal sinus (right at the base of your spine), and have had a few op's over the years - and really cant be riding something that brings it back. Previously, I've tried gel pads, but never felt like they offered any …
