A sharp contrast to two shooting facilities...one in Germany and one in the US where you can own almost any weapon that you can get your hands on. In all fairness, not all Americans are gun nuts but they certainly have more than their share. Hello. I've done this in the wrong order, my initial post is already done and the intro comes second I joined to answer a question about Puncturesafe, but the Missus has an FZ6 Fazer (I've also had two FZS600 Fazers), so will keep looking in on here from time to time whenever something falls off it, as it's me that ends up doing most of the work on it. Mechanically it's still sound, but it's in a bit of a state cosmetically. She has put 83,000 miles on it since she bought it new in 2005 though, so it's allowed to look a bit tatty round the edges. She uses it as her commuter (she has an '06 Tuono for fun) and takes it from Newbury into central London and back e…

Hello again, I am picking my new ~YBR up on Tuesday, and plan to use it for the odd dry run to work... I need to take folders, paperwork, packed lunch bla bla bla to work with me (bad habbit from having a car for the last 8 years of my life... so I'm thinking I need some sort of top box. from looking on the GIVI website, they don't have my YBR on the 'choose bike find accessories' section. does this mean there are no givi boxes available for my new bike??? Also, when wearing a rucksack on a bike, does it blow around and create drag? (i'm new to riding so a bit confused by it all?)

Hello all, I've just bought myself a cheap run around, it has a custom paint job on the tank.... someone has painted by hand a beautiful lady on the tank of this Yamaha FJ1200 1993. Does anyone know who may have done it (Long shot I know) and has it ever been owned by someone here on the forum.

Ho! fellow Yam lovers, I have this weird problem that's proving difficult to diagnose. Sometimes and ONLY sometimes I hear this awful yowling noise from my XJ600. The reason I say it's difficult to diagnose is that it disappeares when you go below 50mph and as I'm sure you'll agree you can't really hear much but wind above 50mph (well, not MY wind anyways). However, I was travelling home late last night and I heard the noise and had a look down and noticed that the speedo light was glowing dull then normal; unusual as all the other clocks didn't vary. Whenever I dipped below 50, the clock light became normal and the sound vanished. Could this be a noisey speedo cable prob…

Hi People Work this out recently got back on to 2 wheels and looked at insuring said bike, quotes unusually cheap ? had a virago 535 for 11 years with never a claim and i was quoted £71.00 full comp so filled in forms and paid premium in full with Bennetts. after which the insurance informed me that my NCB was out of date and that I had to start again with zero NCB. OK i accept that they informed me that the new premium would be £78.00 !!! so this means my initial 11 years NCB was worth a poultry 7 quid. But they charged me 30 quid to change the policy. Is it me or is this madness?
