Hello all. A quick question. I have a 1974 DT 175 Trail. It has 1200 miles on the clock and is un damaged , just dusty/dirty. I know that I must not offer the bike for sale here, but I do wish to find out how much it may be worth. Or how to find out its value. If anyone can help I would be very grateful. Thanks. Daughter went up to dad just before Christmas and said. "Dad, please, please can I have a barbie doll for Christmas." Dad said "No! Fuck off, do you think I'm made of money?" Daughter said "Please, please, please dad I will do anything to get a barbie doll for Christmas" Dad said "What anything?" "Anything at all" said the daughter. "Right, suck on this" said dad Halfway through she spat it out and said "this tastes like shit!" "Yeah, I know, your brother wants a mountain bike for Christmas"

He`s a friend and an all round good egg!!! but it`s killing me , this waiting!!!! it might only be a little CG125 but i feel like a kid waiting for his new toy???? i have plans for it this summer and i want to get it ready, but i am stuck here, twiddling my thumbs until i get the green light to collect it!!! is it just me or do we all feel like this with a new (old bike) machine to go in our collect…

Does any one know if the gas tanks are interchangeable on the 1972-73 DT 250 and the 1972-73 RT 360? I have a really nice '73 DT 250 (green), all orginal with a factory buddy seat. The only problem is the big knee print (about the size of a grapefruit) in the gas tank (right side).

Hi everyone I've dreamed about getting back on two wheels for years now, ever since my BMW R80 died a death back in 1990. Tomorrow I pick up my 'new' bike ... starting small until I get back into the routine again, on a Yamaha SR250. Very excited but also s--t scared at the same time. Would love to meet up with other bikers in the Yorkshire area, if you'll have me! Lorain

Hi all, I have a 1976 Yamaha 125. When I purchased it the generator/starter didnt work but I could kick start it easily. I took it riding and the battery drained and it died (no charge). I have been working on this part of the bike. The starter part of the assembly now works fine, but I don't know how to tell if the generator assembly is charging. The test I usually perform on the other bikes is to take the positive terminal off the battery and see if the bike dies or keeps running. In the case of the 125 the bike dies. this bike does not seem to have a magneto, but has an inner armature couplewith a stationary assembly with all the wire hookup on it. I purchased so…

Hi there.....yet again Im in need of help I took my DTr 50 supermotard out yesterday and the oil light was on. I looked in the 2-stroke mix tank tand there was plenty, and it seemed to go down after Id used the bike. She felt VERY slow, ( even slower than normal - struggling to hit 30mph on the flats and wont even go over 30 down hill - she used to go 50mph down hill ) and couldnt even pull me up small hills. I took out the plug which was black and cleaned it up but it made no difference so I have ordered an ngk iridium one. I also took the exhaust silencer apart and cleaned it and the same with the air filter but still made no difference Im new to bike …
