  2. Hi everyone! I am new on this forum, so will introduce myself: My name is Ventzi. Last year I bought 2 R6's (from a mate that did some racing) - A road bike, and a complete bike that needed alot of putting together (He had been taking bits from it as spares for his track bike) Anyway - Both are the early carb models - the road bike being the updated model with twin rear lights, and project bike being a 1999 early model. I loved the bike, and did alot of miles in a few miles - and quite comfortably did a bit of touring here and there - once even with the girlfriend and a set of soft panniers on the back! Anyway - I sold that bike, and now need another one to do…

Hello fellow yam-heads, im in the throws of buying a 2007 FZ1 FAZER and am a bit concerned about the fuel glitch that seams to pop up every time i read a report or test ride on this bike, they have not been very kind to the 2006 model. and am just reaching out there to see how accurate the reports are in real world terms? and if so, has it been solved on the 2007 model.

Hi everyone, just thought i would introduce myself and say hello. I'm a recent member of the biking fraternity. At 34 years old and as a life long petrol head i decided three months ago to take the plunge and get my licence. I'm now the proud owner of a '56 plate black FZ6 Fazer. I think it's a good machine to get me started. The whole experience has been very humbling and rewarding, i'm loving it. I have done nearly 3k since the end of July. I know that many of you will have been riding for a long time and will have vastly superior machinary to me and that's why i will soak up like a sponge any hints or tips anyone can give. I look forward to discussing all things bi…

Was going to add risers on my 1300,untill i stripped it down. Because of the speedo mount it aint going to happen. 1. I can add aftermarket risers, but what to do with speedo? 2.Maybe a aftermarket speedo that mounts to the bars, but havent seen that 3.I can add different bars, but have to replace alot of cables!(maybe) Any thought or ideas would be nice, at least a good topic for conversation. I am 6ft 1" and still reach for the bars a little. and yes i have rolled them back until they start rolling down. it would be nice to pull them back so i can sit straight. To me this is not a small stature persons bike(notice the politically correct description) I really dont…

I have been riding bikes for nearly 21 years and ive only had 4 minor'ish accidents so im either good, lucky or saving it up for a biggy!!!! Im a member of a north east of england bike club. I have 3 bikes at the mo (and a few in spares)...i know that might seem excessive but i say you can never have too many bikes..my resident bikes are my trusty zzr1100 (c1 model) and 2 dtr 125's (1995+2001) and im off down the big smoke this tuesday to pick up a 2000 model R1. I use my R6 for work everyday. Some of my shifts demand a 4:30am departure. I am aware that one should always warm up the engine before setting off, but what's a decent temp to aim for? (a colleague has advised me that he once fatally damaged an R6 because he failed to warm it up and it's high rev nature caused an engine crack)! Any other winter riding advice also welcome.

I cant see a Newbie room, so I will post here to introduce myself. I am Neil, and I am from Nottingham. I have always had a passion for bikes, but my circumstances have not always allowed me to have one. I am now the very proud owner of a 2000 R6 in Blue. 11,000 miles, bought on Sept 18th. I love it. Its pretty much standard apart from a high lift, oval dual exit Blue Flame exhaust, LED rear lite cluster incorporating rear indicators, little front indicators which I hate and will replace, and a nice under tray. I have "chavved" it up a bit with a small blue lite underneath which illuminates the hugger and the under tray, and I am told it looks really smart. If I hear i…
