  2. Should have put this up a couple of weeks ago but better late than never. My bike was leaking fuel from the LH carb, it was damp and a little wiffy (no puns) Well 2 strokes being what they are, like the wife not liking neglect, it bit me. Flooded out massively, almost had me walking home. Anyway TDR's being what they are, (a big motor stuffed in a 125 frame) its a bit tight so off comes the offending carb. Open her up clean out the carb, nothing visible but there was dirt on the cloth i cleaned it with. Whacks it all back together and........... nothing. Std options first.... Change plugs, old ones were sparking but you never know. Changed fuel, it had run…

My ignition barrel is wearing out, it keeps getting stuck in the locked position, one day it's just gonna get stuck like that, it needs to be replaced. I'm wondering how much it'll cost, anyone else had there's replaced? The bikes a YBR Custom if that helps. I was going to do it myself like I do everything else, turns out they use fucking shear bolts to hold them in.

  8. So was speaking to one of my aunties borthers at the weekend, and as per got onto talking about bikes. was sayign that i had an sv but was looking for something else, and turns out he's selling a Thundercat! went and had a look at it and its clean, has service history and would get taxed and tested prior to sale. asking for 1400, and the insurance is less than my SV, despite the jump in horsepower, guessing because of the "Sport Touring" classification? can mind what year is it, only had a quick look - going back for a proper look and test this weekend. whats your thoughts on this bike?

Hey all.... Im currently in California at the moment training for work. the weather here is seriously hot.... but my god its like biking heaven. the locals here say that the winter weather is like our summer but with no rain. The bikes out here are something else... mainly all I've seen are tractors but they are all immaculate. few sports bikes but not much. Moral of the story.... mother nature is ripping us off in Ireland & the UK.

Hi, I am very much into cars, never been into bikes. But I've been bitten... I wish to get an unrestricted license & buy a used Yamaha R6. I want to do this yesterday but think it'd be best to wait until early next year to go for the test, get the bike etc. Would I be correct in saying I can go for direct access, do the test in a couple of days (from scratch) and buy the bike... All comments welcome - good or bad. I'm 27, never ridden before
