I've just read the posting, by Goff, about Santa Pod --------- I'll bet it's nowt like this Seaside Event (who said "Thank Goodness) ----- You may recognise the Beeza (The bike number 14 NOT THE RIDER -- that's Wildone) because it's posted under "Originality" and under "Kids riding pillion" but who reconises the fella in the blue coat with the canna Duchams best green stuff ? It's Des Heckle who, at the time, was the holder of several standing start WORLD RECORDS. His fiance of the time, Irene Scargill, was sprinting that event too on a megga - low tri-cart made by Des. I promise that I'm not joking but Irene was, still is I suppos…

....cos I bought another XT as a ratbike! It's a 1991 XT350....genuine 5500 miles. Bog standard apart from Renthal bars and a road legal Predator stainless steel sytem. Cost me a grand....took it for MOT this morning and it sailed through it. Goes great, engine is as sweet as a nut....just got to give it a serious clean up now. What do you think?

It is pretty sad, that I had to be reminded of my long absence! Thanks for reminding Now that winter is here, more time to sit at ye olde computer. Most of my riding this year was in Georgia,Tennessee, N.Carolina,WestVirginia,Virginia,Maryland'Ohio,a bit of Pennsylvania and of course Ontario. Total miles put on the Yamaha FZ1 , this year , about 23 000km Kilometers, not miles. In February a few weeks in Texas. Only problem there, Battery went dead. Got to keep them rpms up Any cold weather riders out there?

Once the daughter-in-law got shot of the SR125 I had no Yamaha connection, so kinda drifted away ..... until today. Here's how it's happened: Monday sold the H*nda NTV650, came home and had a look on ebay for a replacement - spotted a candidate with 15 minutes left on the auction. Put a bid £10 above the current highest bidder with 30 seconds to go, ebay said "Feck orf, it's gotta be £20 more or nowt", so I went that extra tenner and slid the winning bid in with 3 seconds on the clock. Tuesday spoke to the guy selling and arranged to pick it up today (Friday) This morning, up at "Way too early o'clock" to catch the 6:32 out of Dundee, got down to Bolton just…

  8. Hi,all I'm Rex,come from Taiwan. We have ridden superbike(up 251c.c) from 2002 in Taiwan. Because Taiwan government also allow us starting to import superbikes from abroad in 2002. We were riding superbike that was illegal before 2002. because of the license plate. Some Taiwanese said"riding superbike in Taiwan is luxurious!" It meant we usually must pay more a lot of money to buy them than the other countries of riders. Our government take us tax too much!I thought it. anyway,we can finally ride superbikes on road abovebord now. we can ride on two way of express way in Taiwan as well. Our goal could ride on freeway in the future! I'm thinking all are …

....... I'm a Welshman living in Spain! In the town of Huescar in Granada, Andalucia to be precise. And a mate of mine from Essex made the trip down! Dellboy! He rode down through France....stayed in the Pyrenees for a few days (where he witnessed a Dutch guy on a 1200GS writing it off) and then motored down to Denia near Benidorm. We arranged to meet up in Cartagena in the Murcia province, which is a round trip of about 250 miles for each of us. I was out early (8.30am) before the heat kicked in..... .....and 2 hours later I got to the harbour in Cartagena, with the submarine as the meeting point. Del was already there.…

My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. There was only one little thing bothering me...It was her beautiful younger sister. My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, wore very tight miniskirts, and generally was bra-less. She would regularly bend down when she was near me, and I always got more than a nice view. It had to be deliberate. Because she never did it when she was near anyone else. One day her 'little' sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived, and she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn't overcome. S…

Chaps, You may have noticed that I've been quiet for a few weeks. This is mainly due to taking on an off-road trip through Spain & Portugal. I think the last tally was 818 miles of dirt'n dust on the XT660Z. Anyway, here's one or two pictures for you all. The usuall, 'leaving blighty' picture from the back of the boat looking at Plymouth.. the entertainment wasn't too bad on the ferry and before we'd even hit the trails the heat of rush hout in Santander took it's toll on the only XT-R that was with us. We stayed over in Potes in Northern Spain for the first night, riding south past a huge lake that was as still as…

Hello people, The last time I was on here, I'd just passed my Bike Theory Test and that was nearly 2 years ago. Anyway, when I passed my Theory, I kept saying to myself, I got 2 years to do my CBT and DAS and time just flew past and the next thing I knew, I've only got 2-3 months before my Theory runs out again! I did my CBT about 3-4 weeks ago and then did my DAS Saturday to Tuesday this week and passed the test on Wednesday! The feeling is unbelievable, I'm still BUZZIN'! I came through the test with 6 minors which isn't too bad, I stalled twice (was a bit nervous at first). I thought I cocked it up at one point when I was doing the walking with the …
