I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Santa brought me some great biking bits; A Bultaco open face helmet A pair of Halcyon goggles - with tinted lenses A white silk motorcycle scarf I am really made up and I am so pleased with what Santa chose for me. That sorts out my classic look for my old bikes rideouts however there is more. Some of you may know that I sold my SV before Christmas, this has left me with no main bike. During the holidays I have been looking on Fleabay for another commuter and saw some "possibles" in the local Yami main dealers. I wanted a naked bike and really was set on a XJ6-N. The local dealer had 3 used ones between the 2010 to …

A couple of years ago when I reached the ripe old age of 60, my late wife who was a good few years younger than me looked at me with that innocent smile on her face that told me she was about to take the piss, with a straight look on her face she said your old enough now to use the old peoples day center. FFS, anyway I told her that I can't stand bingo or Vera Lynne or any of the crap that they seem to do but if they started selling cheap booze and playing rock music I might consider going. NOW, BIKE HAS ALSO DEVELOPED AN UNHEALTHY APPETITE FOR HEADLIGHT BULBS! BULBS WERE REPLACED ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO, BUT DIPPED FILAMENT HAS BLOWN ON BOTH SIMULTANEOUSLY. NORMALLY NOT HUGE DEAL BUT MY JAP SEC BULBS COST £38 PER SET - SO I'M SURE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND MY FRUSTRATION!!! ANYBODY HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS OR GOT ANY IDEAS? OH, AND HOW DO I ADD PICS? WANTED TO ADD ONE OF MY BIKE TO LET EVERYONE SEE. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DECAL SUPPLIERS? AN ELDERLY GENTLEMAN CAR DRIVER …
