I bought a new bike yesterday, a Thundercat YZF600RR. Well it's not new, it's actually 13 years old. I bought it because my car was dying so I sold that and decided to get back on two wheels after two years. My last bike was an XJ600N. It was used for commuting, a little dull but it done the job. The Thundercat promises to be a different beast and after riding on it yesterday I had the most stupid grin and it was like I had never got off two wheels. The bike itself is in very good nick, no obvious signs of damage or wear. It's HPI clear, the front fork seals are leaking a little and the battery has now decided to not hold a charge. The cat has 30000 miles and only ha…

I'm a beginner I want to get a motorcycle but I don't know which one.. I'm thinking between two options xtx660 and mt-03 I will use the chosen one around the city..commuting..and a road of about 300 km once in a while. Of course I would like to do longer roads as well.. I would like you to advise me and tell me what you would choose in my place. thank you If I didn't put the question where it should have been, excuse me.

Got another xmas pressie today; got into the top 10 in bike exif for 2011! 5. Drew's Yamaha XS400. It’s usually Yamaha’s XS650 that gets the custom treatment. But this sharp tracker from England, with an XS400 motor in an XS250 frame, proved that size isn’t everything. http://www.bikeexif.com/top-ten-motorcycles?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Bikeexif+%28Bike+EXIF%29

okay so most of you may not remember me what with all the fly by night new members coming on to just figure out something and leave. I bought my 1986 yamaha fz 600 about a month or two ago from this buddy of mine. and it wasnt running at all when he gave it to me and then after about a week i got crank and for the next like 3 weeks i work on the electrical system getting things like the light wired up correctly and that type of stuff. I am pleased to say after much toils and labo r and pain i was able to get the spark on port 4 {i havent checked the others yet} but im sure they work fine too. I would have to say that i mostly owe all my success to gareth or as you all ma…

After my YB100 was written off, I've had a courtesy YBR125 which was very nice indeed TYVM. Last week I decided to get a replacement bike and had the choice of this for a grand or this which wasn't 80 miles away and has only got 8 miles on the clock and still got 10 months warranty. I didn't fancy riding from Southend to Margate in this weather so I went for the custom (which I'll be picking up in the morning). I will probably still be asking my self if I did the right move in years to come. Ho Hum, next step is getting a wind-shield and hand guards. Ebay, bike store or stealers??

  20. Well peeps I got back to the UK this afternoon and started about sorting the FJ for its MOT tomorrow. First on my list was fix that oil leak/smoke screen, from what I thought was the rocker cover gasket only to find this: P/O sheared the bolt off in the head, and then just held it in with silicon!, I mean sure I fix things with bodge tape and cable ties but that's just on a whole new level. If it doesn't pass tomorrow I'm gonna be walking for a few months! :/
