Hi All, Did a stupid mindless thing the other day and tried to drive off with me disc lock still on . . .IDIOT!! I'm normally religious about taking it off before I stick my lid on but something distracted me. Luckily no damage to the forks or calliper but I have popped one of the "floaty bits" on the disc though. I’ve had the disc on the lathe and it’s not bent but as there are only 5 out of 6 fixing now holding the disc it’s getting replaced. Hey Guys jonny here and i know its stupid but my Yamaha TZR 50 Has a Really "tinny" Sounding exhaust... its a 2 stroke 50cc, and i really hate the noise, i see little 50cc peds now a days that sound better, i just wanted to know if theres an exhaust i could get that would give it a bassier sound to it, more like a roar instead of a scream. well I had to take a day off from work today as i had the electric man coming round ti fit a new meter. my meter is at the back of my garage so i had move my bikes out & a lot of other crap, they said he will be here before 1pm so i thought i will make good use of my day off and get my bike mot'd in the afternoon, so I got up early to empty the garage and do a pre MOT check, 1st I got electrical gremlins which I predicted would happen to grouch, took me over 2 hours to sort out then i discovered that I had been riding round with an almost flat front tyre, which i had a bit of a pop at grouch about a couple of days ago, serve's me right for being a smart arse all …

Hey there fellow Yammers. Quicky for you which will probably make me sound a bit daft (I am). I want to change the chain and sprockets on my Thundercat and fancied going down a tooth at the front for obvioius reasons. Thing is, I dont know how many teeth there are to start. Plus when you buy a bike specific kit it would come with the standard sprockets. Any suggestions? Thanks folks, Andy

I have posed this a few times on here and keep getting stupid replys but owell iltry again rouhly 3 years ago i boughta DT50MX in blue to restore it came with no documents as it was sold as off road use only. Since i have had it i havnt been able to find anything about its like it doesnt exist. I applied for alog book but the DVLA said it has never ben registered (i doubt that) so i could either have it on a Q plat or i need to have evidence of its age for an age related one. Starting to get a few bits on the cafe racer project (was an XZ550), but have taken the top yoke off as it was fuck ugly and wouldnt let me use ace bars, i was told by the pervious owner that XJ550 top yokes will fit straight on but as it turns out the only breaker i could find had sold his on already. Im thinking maybe XJ600 (pre-div?) or something similar, but not is kind of thing?sure where to start, does anyone have any experiance in thing?

Hey there, At the moment my bike is off the road because my gear box is broken. Anyone know any issues with switching an engine for a ybr 125, mines a 55 plate, is it ok to swith with say a 2010 engine???? Any help would be brilliant

Hi All Does anybody know how to date a bike by it's VIN number. I have this French plated Virago xv 125cc with a VIN of JYA5AJ00000109835, but the only papers I have for it are all in French, any ideas anyone cheers

Firstly hello again! Been a year or so since ive been on here, recent purchase of new bike has brought me back I have a quick question. Ive bought a 1988 fzr400. According to the DVLA etc it is the RR SP, but im under the impression that the rr sp was only in production on the 1992 above models? And a search of the internet only seemed to confirm this. Am I wrong? It certainly feels like it has the longer first gear and close ratio box. Can anybody shed some light? Cheers, will.

Hello all, just charged the battery two days ago and it's gone flat again. I did a four mile trip stopped for five minutes and it just would not start. Kind of hopeing the battery is knackered and not anything else, although it seemed to charge ok on Sunday. Any thoughts would be greatly received.
