well, its been a while since i have been here. so i should explain myself. first off my little dt175 is binned for the time being. it started a horrible ratle in the top end that sounded like the piston came off the connecting rod. and as an early x-mas gift my folks went out and paid for me to get a new ride. I FEEL LIKE SUCH A TRAITOR because its a honda rebel. i will continue to visit here because its such a great place with many friends. drewps, if you need me to pay for the patch, i completely understand. let me know, it dosent make sense for me to have one if i dont ride a yamaha naymore, but i wont leave you screwed. im hoping that you all will look at the pic and …

An epic battle that I had with Phil McCallen at the Macau GP in 1995. I'm really chuffed to be included in the Eurosport 'Best Battles - Bikes' - it's a bit humbling really, there are some top doers being featured - anyway our race is Boxing Day 7pm British Eurosport. Me and Phil on GP500s - what a race... Bloke.

Good day all. Another forum newbie here. I have a 1300SP XJR awaiting slightly warmer weather and drier roads, but hope to be wearing out plenty of tyres in 2011 both in UK and Europe. Joined to get the usual advice, recommendations, and general banter.

One thing i really miss from the moped (the ONLY thing!) is the clock! The YBR125 is a very basic bike, so it doesn't have one, i've looked around and found a few stick on clocks for bikes, but they're either poorly rated or a bit expensive. Any ideas?

I know the old sweats will have experienced this first hand but i thought i'd put it up while its on my mind. We do seem to have a lot of new riders even with the draconian learner restrictions. All you folks wizzing around on your first love, after a very long spell of basically dry weather the first time it rains in whatever part of this damp land you live in the roads will become incredibly greasy. Like riding on a hard winter frost, more so in inner cities. Just be aware

Yeah I know I'll make a topic about anything lol but just gotta share this one with you in case it happens to you too. Last week while putting on my bike jacket I found one of the press stude was not working and on inspection I could see that it had come apart in a place that it shouldnt have. So I wondered what to do yellow pages...google, and then it struck me ...EBAY Yeah with a bit of searching I found someone (a very nice chap called 'jerry baby' who sold special tools which comprised a special punch and an anvil and all manner of studs. After a chat with jerry on the phone he sold me the tools and a small selection of studs for the princely sum of £6.50 …

I am trying to find out if a Radian (86) top triple tree or the upper & lower as a unit will bolt up to an 86 SRX. If so will it retain same spacing for my front wheel? As you can probably figure out I want to install a standard handle bar and I don't want to drill holes in my stock triple tree to mount risers. Radian triple trees are available on ebay right now at reasonable prices. Unless someone on here has a Radian top triple they want to sell. Thanks,

I know my dt50r has cdi restrictions, so is it possible to totaly disconnect the CDI box to get rid of that problem? And if anyone has any other tips on how to make my DT50R from 2010 to go slightly faster or atleast get more power, feel free to tell me. I dont understand shit with theese new japanese engines, everything's controlled by electric, and the parts sit so tight together so you'll have to own the exact right key, or påta for half an hour (almost) just to get the spark plug out. where did the old times go? when all you needed was a wrench and a couple of screwdrivers.
