Hey all - my name is Dave and I just aquired a 1991 Yamaha XJ600s "Seca II" w/ 2800 miles. It's been in storage for a while - needs a carb clean and going over. It's my #2 bike - as I've restored a 1983 Suzuki GR650 that is my daily rider. I'm looking at the "Seca II" as my budget sport tourer, and will get a set of soft bags for it after it's running - and do some extended trips next year. Anyway - great to find the club...will scout around for info on my new bike. Dave

For the first time in a long time, I am no longer a Yamaha owner I've just sold my beloved XVS650 Classic to a very nice chap who seems to adore it, so it's off to a good home. I have bought another bike, it's just not a Yamaha.......It's a HARLEY DAVIDSON Baby! Whadya reckon to this....... HARLEY F$%KIN' DAVIDSON BABY!!!!!! So I guess the question is.......as a non Yamaha owner, am I still welcome in the Yamaha owners club?

hello everyone im new to the forum thought i would join because i plan on getting my self a dt125. ii got a history with bad luck with bikes lol iv had 2 speedifht 50s 1 speedfight 100 2 aprilia rs50s 1 kawasaki kmx 125 2 aprilia rs125s out of all those bikes only two of them iv been able to sell in one lol the rest i sold in peices lol iv always wanted a dt because the ride is so much more comfy unlike the rs which just gives me sore back im hopelly picking up a dt in a couple of days and il get piccys aswell lol

Hi everybody, I'm new to the forum and I am enjoying the friendly nature of the site. I currently have a 1998 Thundercat, bought it as an impulse buy in 2006 (normally people get clothes and i got a bike, lol). After a few months of riding it, I committed a sin, I left the bike in the garage for couple of years. I know need to get rid of the bike and have had it serviced so that its in working order for a buyer. What I'd like to know is what is the best way to sell it. I don't want time wasters, I bought it off ebay without a test drive and I'm looking at doing the same thing selling wise. Hello everyone, new to posting this forum thing, so if I'm posting in a wrong section or whatever let me know but I've been reading stuff on here to help with my bike for a while now so thought I'd get involved! My 99 dtr recently had a top end done (like 220 miles ago) got it back did about 50 miles, and sent it straight back to the garage, as it was like as if it was running on choke, flooding itself and dying etc -,- anyway got it back and it's been fine since. Done like another 150 miles, and noticed this past week or so it's been overheating like hell, doesn't go into the red, but scarily close. And my little tank at the back has bubbled and sucked all my coolant …

Hi everyone, Just perusing a few posts here and there and couldnt help noticing that people posting from places in England are all flying the Union flag, and people from Wales or Scotland are patriotically flying their national flags. Had a look at changing mine to England only to find we dont exist but Wales and Scotland do! Any Ideas?
