I've been looking at what people are saying they are paying for their insurance- and it's been pretty steep. I've only been quoted fully comp 280, tptf 162. ive just passed and the bike is a fzs600 with 1 yr no claims. Is this right or am I seeing things?

Got a big service the other day. They recon my shock is finished and i need new chain and sprocks. Shock seems fine to me but they thinks its total done, chain and sproks is on the last nitch so that's fair play in 1000 miles or so i recon. Shocks seem awful expensive. If mine is shagged then whats the best replacement? Dont seem to be that much choice on ebay and some are a total ripoff. One company refurbishes them think its worth a try? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-YZF-600-YZF-7...%3A1%7C294%3A50 also got a rear flat tyre last night just left my bike outside my mates house, am guted. can you get them fixed, its almost new!!

I e-mailed these today, either he's having a laugh or has found out I,m a Derby County supporter, seeing as they're on the wrong side of the A52. my e-mail to them. Looking for the price of the full kit of swingarm bushes, rollers, top hats and shims, off a 1992 yamaha dt 125r chassis number 3MD019272. Their reply. Hi Nev Yamaha don't supply a 'kit' for the suspension bearings/collars only the seperate parts. It's unlikely that you'll need to replace every part, but a 'ball park' price would be around £250.00. If you strip the swingarm and check what's required we can give you an acurate price. Somebody please tell me that I can get th…

Hey all, I'm new to the site. I've had my yamaha about two years now and would like to learn to fix it for myself. However, I would need to buy a haynes manual. Does anyone know where I could buy one from for a yamaha frz 400 grey import (1987). i've looked a lot of places but having no luck at the minute. I would really love the help. Many Thanks CJ x

I've spend the last 3 hours trying to get the engine out of the bike, every single fucking bolt holding the bike in is totally stuck in the bike, WD40, physical violence, high heat and a lot of time didn't get them out. As far as I can tell this engine is stuck solid in the frame. Any tips?

  19. I took all my electrics off the bike to do maintenance and cleaning and now everything is back together. The headlight and sidelight is not working. Everything else works fine. The battery for the bike doesn't charge but it will charge enough to run full power for 20 mins or so could this be the reason the head light/side light aren't powering up. I don't think it is wiring problem. More than likely the bulbs are gone could i test by using rear bulb for headlight i'm guessing its a bad idea but let me know. Cheers for help

Hi All I have not long bought myself a 2009 YBR and I had read that the headlights are not very good on the bike. I looked for alternatives to the HiD conversion and was told to try some osram night breakers or riders so i opted for the night riders. They came today (and I might be being a bit thick here) they have a totally different fitting to the ones in the bike. I was lead to believe it was a straight swap over from the standard to the night riders. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know this sounds pathetic but i have just blown my last 12 quid on these bulbs and as they are from ebay I doubt I'll have much look returning them. Thanks
