Hello everybody. Just registered to this owners club as i bought a 97 Thundercat 2 days ago. Its the yellow and silver one. I've already replaced the blowing downpipe with a stainless one, but need to do the fork seals for the mot. However, the fairing at the bottom front was held together with tape as the lugs on the L/H fairing have snapped off and are still attached to the triangular middle panel. Anyone got one going spare? Getting the right one from a breakers seems like trying to finding hens teeth Cheers

Well China sure is a busy place! I think everyone must be called Wayne as thats all i can understand. Not too sure what are more dangerous the cyclists or the pedastrians. No wonder there was no shortage of kamikaze pilots! We had proper chinese food yesterday which was quite nice surprisingly, we also had 2 quart bottles of beer and the whole lot came to under a £5 with tip, mind you this was a nice restaurant but would definatly be shut down if in england. However, today when hunting for breakfast we realised that they eat exactly the same at all times of the day, so we actually brought some ham and cheese and a mini loaf and made sandwiches. We now know not to do th…

Hello everyone. Just found this forum by Googling "XVS1100 forum." I've owned my 03 XJR from new, just bought an 04 Dragstar 1100 with 6K on the clock. (Easier for my good lady to get on with all the luggage on board.) Still got the XJR though. A question. Is there a secret easy way to adjust the rear shocker on the XVS, or is the knuckle-skinning method with the seat removed the only way? Back soon.

This is my first winter using a bike, correct me if I'm talking 'Betty' here, do salted roads which have had no rainfall to wash them have a slight 'glaze' on them, I kno some of the other slip hazards, like- White lines, man-hole covers, 'segment transition strips (the tar line that joins, well,,,joins), banana skins, KY, and laminate flooring pieces-yep thats laminate flooring pieces. I've not had a slide but it doesnt too 'old age friendly.

Driving into town today, i saw a 'AA' man sitting in his van, crying, wailing and bangin his head on the steering wheel. I thought to myself, He's heading for a breakdown. -------------------------------------------------- Bought a Sony Bravia 42 inch LCD TV. Yesterday only £100. Salesman says the volume control is broken. I bought it "Can't really turn it down at that price"

Now my bike is back on the road and mechanically sound I think we should have a little competition for a bit of fun. All you have to do is try and predict the next thing to get 'grouched'. It could take days or even months for something to happen so get guessing.

Hi guys, am fixing up a bike - took off old indicators (single wire) and swapped out for new twin wire indicators. Have connected the positive wire up but the negative is needing a place to be ground to. For the rear two I have ground to the frame but as for the front pair, well there not going to reach the frame. What do I do? Can I ground the wires to the forks or do I have to extend the wires to the frame..? Any ideas greatly appreciated. happy riding, Louis
