Hello, everyone. Im new to this forum, so hope to get many tip and advice from you all. I did my CBT a few months ago and decided to go out and but a YZF R125. Its a lovely bike and im not sure if id ever go bigger. Im thinking of taking my test on my own bike. What would be the best way to go about this and what restrictions would i have presuming i pass? I have heard that i could ride around on my own bike for two years and then go and buy a 600 if im upfor it. Is this true? What advice has anyone got for the new style test and is it easy? Thanks in advance. Connor James.

Looking over my bike recently its dawned on me that various nutz n bolts about the bike are looking a bit "tired", nowt imperrative to safety tho but hardly suprising on a bike 10yrs old hey...so, I thought hmmm...better look at replacing those with nice shiney ones....has anyone got any suggestions on where to get replacements for my 99 R6? Too much aggro get the wire wool out on all those fiddly little feckers

ok, so, barkwindjammer suggested this idea to me. I put about 2 hours into it, and had a bunch of fun. thanks for the idea bark! later in time, around the turn of the century, steam power took over: (this one I worked for over 3 weeks on. over 25 different pieces went into this. it was for a competetion at a photoshop site that im part of, to make an everyday object look like it came from the steam era.I started with a pic of my dt175. the only thing that remains from the original pic is the tires and the front shocks which i colored to look copper, the kickstand and shifter. oh, and the pavement)

Hello! I'm brand new to the website and forum and I already have a question! My 2001 VStar 650 is in the shop getting new tires and fork dust seals. A friend in TN is sending me a Memphis Shades windshield but no mounting hardware. I need to order the hardware but there is a difference between the Classic and Custom and I don't know which one is my bike (the manual is on the bike). Is there an easy way to tell which model is mine? I searched the 'net for VIN number decoders but didn't find how the VIN will tell me which bike I have. The VIN is JYAVM01E51A034110 if that helps. I'm glad to be here and I look forward to spending some time here and on the road. …
